I am going to Lubbock this afternoon to spend the weekend with my BFF! I can't wait to see her! I just saw her a month ago, but am missing her!
I should stay home, finish house cleaning and laundry, but oh well, it will be waiting on me when I get home!
Sherry - Time spent with friends is time well spent. Stampin Up even has a sentiment for that! It is true though. I have never regretted seeing my friends even though there are other things to be done around my house.
I have found that my back feels best when I'm laying flat. Unfortunately, that doesn't allow me to get anything done. I am going to shower and take more Advil. Hopefully, I can sit for awhile.

It is getting better. I took the band-aid off the other day and it ripped it open and all the fluid came out. I'm still wearing sandals until it's completely healed.
I took a shower which felt good but didn't really help. I can't bend over or lift anything. So doing laundry, unloading the dishwasher - not gonna happen right now. Bill can help me lift things when he gets home so I can work on laundry then. That is never ending anyway!
I'm cleaning the whole house today - doing a little bit of everything. Washing rugs, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, making phone calls... Brandon has school all weekend and I'm going to my mama's so I want the house to be clean so I can feel ok about playing

We thought since we were so close and it was a nice day, it would be nice to see the beach resort area. We were amazed how very busy the place was with lots of people on the beach.

Liz- Any news on the flooding. The areas around MN are bracing for the worst. Many cities have already sandbagged the shores. The last I heard the Mississippi River is expected to see record flooding.
Joan - I didn't realize you were dealing with more water. I guess you did tell me and I forgot. I hope it isn't as bad as they are predicting.
I went to one of my favorite grocery stores. I probably shouldn't because my back didn't like it. Bill and Marie put everything away when we got home. It wasn't too much. We're doing some kind of seafood for dinner. I am so tired - I could just drop off to sleep. But I don't dare because it is 4:15 already!
Went to SU's regionals in Hartford, CT. So much fun, but a long day! 2 hour drive each way and I was out the door at 6:30 am and back home at 7 pm.
Really a ton of fun today and LOTS of great swaps!

Morning - back still hurting so I stayed home from church. Thank goodness for Julie who will "take over" for me. I wasn't teaching today so it is "okay".
I'm feeling a little better. Want to get the laundry folded so tahth can be put away. Bill has been awesome and changing it out of the washer/dryer and bringing it upstairs for me. Hope I continue to feel better through the day. I did yesterday for awhile.
I'm considering going back to the doctor, but the last time I was told just keep up with the Advil. I just don't like taking so much all the time. I have to go to my regular doctor for something else so I may talk to her about it. My OB/GYN was who I discussed this with before - because it was all PMS related - even though it lasts so long.
I looked but honestly it looked the same as other "cosmo" moons - you know other big ones....it did not seem bigger or brighter, though it was nice to look at!!

hey ladies, hope you all are doing good, sorry who is sick, or hurting.
I am back home and BACK TO WORK tomorrow I DONT WANT TOO BOO BOO but its got to be done lol... had a awesome week off and and an awesome weekend home. Love my family. I had to be the chef this weekend though, my brother FINALLY GOT A JOB and he was working and my dad had to work. So we grilled out burgers and hotdogs, first time grilling on a charcoal grill we have a gas but DH always does it. But nephews party was great and even ran into a friend from school, her son is my nephews friend from school, so that was kool, but also sad things happened too. had to take my dads mom to the hospital on satruday morning around 330am. she is doing some better had infection in stomach and other things going on. and then my cousin's husband came home and said he wanted a divorce...............so a long and very talktive and TIRING both physical and MENTALLY. So hopefully this week will be great. HOPEFULLY I need a good week.
