Can't wait. Of course their mom, Paige is going with us. So it's me, Alison, Paige and the twins. Of course they (P & twins) had the day off when we purchased the tickets, but now she needs to take the day off. I think the girls had Pre-K too.
Oh well. It should be so much fun and then us 'girls' will go out for lunch!
Then back to the grind of homework and work.

Preston in his bouncer - he's started rubbing his feets together and making his socks come off. As he was kicking, MuShu was batting at his foot. She was being gentle, it was very cute!
Watching cartoons - check out those CHEEKS!!
New Bumbo chair. I wedged it on the vanity so I could get ready.
Great pictures, Jennifer!!!! He looks so happy in his Bumbo chair!!!!
Liz - have fun with your girls day out!!!
Our district was supposed to have today and tomorrow off. Due to the weather, the teachers are having their inservice day today instead of tomorrow. And everyone goes in tomorrow.
OMG Jennifer he's soooo flippin CUTE!!!!! Do you have an exasaucer(sp) for him?
I can picture him going crazy in one of those!!!!!! Would keep both of you happy
for lots of time!!!!!
We have off this week.....Took the kids to Disney on Ice Friday night the show was great.....Despite the fact I almost lost a tire and that would NOT have been good!
I lost 2 lug nuts......I have been driving on my spare for quite sometime....... I knew just it wasn't right but didn't realize just how really bad it was till I got to the parking garage called DH and he drove up before the show got out......fixed it the best he could...he took the kids and I took me all was well...I drives him nuts that we aren't
closer to his old boss or have a garage that he can take care of most of this himself
So he took it this am for work that's been needed for awhile. ANYWAY ........
Taking the kids for an overnight in Boston with another mom and her 2 girls and annual thing so annual that we score huge.....we usually get a coner suite for the $
of a simple room with the MOST AWESOME view of the Charles River and Boston skyline........That's Thursday and then we'll head to CT Friday for the rest of the weekend.
Great pictures, Jennifer!!!! He looks so happy in his Bumbo chair!!!!

He's not too sure about the Bumbo yet. He keeps trying to twist out of it, but he'll sit in it for short periods so I can get things done.

Thanks Kathy - we kinda like him
We don't have one yet. We're looking into getting him a bouncer of some sort but I think he's still too little for one. I have a doorway jumper that someone gave us and I tried him out in it the other day. He just dangled there and kept hitting his face on the front of the seat. Maybe we'll try again in a month or so.

Quick drive by - we have Alexander for the day and took him bowling. Actually. he and Reynold bowled - so love to have joined them because it was something I enjoyed since I was a young girl. It was fun watching them.
We will have to be leaving soon to take Alexander back but he did get some of his favorite spaghetti from grandma.
Jennifer Now is the perfect time for the exersoucer!!!!!! He can spin and bounce...the
great thing about those too are you can adjust the height...and now that he's really
starting to get wiggly....it can keep his attention and you don't need to be concerned
about him twisting out of it....I Highly recommend! Those bouncy thing for the door way are cool but sadly they grow out of them so quickly.....also you need to have the right
door way.
Our weather forecast is now showing 3-6 inches of the white stuff for tomorrow.
Bill and Marie ran some errands today - they used the blue van (the older one). While they were in line at Dunkin Donuts it started smoking. Bill called Andy (I like how I can just use his name and you all know that he is our mechanic) who was still at work. It is something to do with the a/c fan. He'll look into it, but we can leave it there all week since we don't need it! I just don't know what this means or will cost!
We just got back from Southern Maryland taking Alexander back - ice was hitting the windshield.
Have another appt. to get my hair done tomorrow and looks like this will be postponement #4 if we get all the snow they are calling for. Must be a conspiracy. ... my hair has not been done since before Christmas... not a pretty site.
Cat - I'm in the same position! Hair appointment tomorrow! I last went on 12/16 - before a wedding. Yes, I'm looking pretty bad. Especially since I really needed the highlighting done in early January. It's pathetic!
Jen - A friend of mine in Rockland County NY said they got about 5 inches of snow today, too. It was supposed to be a dusting. She isn't happy! She lives by my parents. As usual, I will believe what I actually see.
Had a wonderful time at The Hungry Caterpillar and the girls LOVED it. Really it was an amazing show.
Then we went to TGIF for lunch. They are so well behaved! Love spending time with them. Hard to believe their little sis (our Godchild) will be ONE YEAR in 2 weeks!
Anyway, Jennifer - he keeps getting cuter every day
Cat - happy you were able to enjoy some time with your little ones
Joanne - sorry about the van
Jen - safe trip home
Nikki - keeping you covered in prayer
Kathy - enjoy Boston!
Marie - just three more weeks!

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of me telling Brandon I was pregnant. I re-created the baby dinner I made last year. He caught on to the hints this time and then his eyes got really big. No, I'm not pregnant again. That would have been a fun way to tell him though! It was a fun night.
Jennifer - he is such a happy baby! I love the cat playing with his toes! Too Cute!
Joan - Someone "blusky" keeps sending me swap invites.....do you know her? I usually don't sign up for a swap with someone I don't know! but I noticed your name on the invite too!

Wow a year already... how neat to re-create the baby dinner.
I was up near International Falls this weekend. The snow total was about 1 1/2 inches. I shoveled the light fluffy stuff. It was 12 below zero. My kind of weather. we left Monday afternoon. The further south we drove the more snow we encountered. We thought about quitting. The 4 1'2 hr drive took 7 hrs. Of course, getting stuck in the snow on my street took over 30 minutes to get out. My sister had to shovel the snow out from under the car. Finally, a neighbor came and helped to push us out. I was thinking unkind things about the 20 or more cars that passed us and the 2 teenage boys sitting in their car watching us shovel out. I did very loudly say... "So much for helping people, when they need it.." Didn't seem to faze them. When the plow finally came through at 11PM, we had a four foot pile across our driveway. It was too heavy for our snow blower. I helped for awhile and my back was very sore. DH and DS worked for about 30 minutes to clear the end of the driveway and sidewalk at the street.
Today is sunny and 24 degrees.
Sherry- I know blusky for one of the forums. Right now I can't remember where?
Jennifer- What a cute babe! I can certainly see why Dh looked surprised during the dinner.
Kathy- I have never been to Boston. I have only been out east twice. Once when I was 13 to DC. My sister was in the Navy. Then in 2006, two of my sisters and I went to NYC.
Liz- sounds like a fun day!
Got to thinking that today is George Washington's actual birth date - wonder how many kids know that since now a date is set aside to mark president's day in February to get a three-day weekend.

I wonder if they even teach info like this!
How are you feeling? I have been thinking about you!
