Question of the Week: What is a "Classic" color combination for you?
Last week I asked what was a "classic" technique for you. One that would never go out of style
This week I want to know what is "Classic" color combination for you? This is a color combo that you turn to when all else fails. The color combo that never seems to go out of style with you.
My "classic" is black and white and red. I can mix these with anything, kraft, blue, green. Or they can stand on their own, using as little or as much of each color. I know this combo always works for me.
Wow! I'm bookmarking this thread and using it for future reference when I'm stuck! Seriously all great combos!!
I tend to take my colors from patterned papers but I love kraft and white/cream popped with a color - almost anything looks good, red, teal, green, etc., etc. I also love that soft sky aqua/blue color with red.
And YES to Tinkerbell1958's colors - pink & orange and yes some chartreuse - LOVE!
I like to keep a smash book of color combos that I like. If I see something I really like I print it out and put it in my book. Great way to get color combos that I normally would not think to put together.
