Question Question of the Week: Are there any foods that inspire you?

I've been drawing for our upcoming release and I realized that I always seem to be eating the same thing when I create. Pizza!

When I was growing up, my school would have pizza every Friday for 25 cents a slice. It wasn't a fancy pizza. Just dough rounds you would purchase at a restaurant supply, slathered in canned tomato sauce with mozzarella. It was my first taste of pizza, and it was HEAVEN!

So, it's no surprise that Pizza is it for me. Comfort food. And, I can eat pizza hot or cold. From a store or from frozen. It always seems to be what I reach for when I create.

Question of the Week: Are there any foods that inspire you?

Hmmm...I keep a stash of Haribo gummi bears in my craft room and snack on those. I also really love having an icy cold Cherry Coke (in a spill proof container of course) to drink. Sometimes, I may go a little wild and treat myself to the gummi Coke bottles.

I try to refrain from eating while I'm stamping to avoid messy fingerprints, but I do like to snack on peanut M&Ms once in a while.

I also tend to associate fast food to creating because when I'm on a roll, I don't want to stop to cook. Whenever I had those long stamping sessions like for Virtual Stamp Nights on SCS, I also would go grab a burger or a poutine at a drive-thru, so this is what comes to mind!

I shouldn't be writing about food at this hour, it is making me hungry for fast food!

There are no foods that inspire me, however, I always have to have a cup of hot tea even in the triple digit heat of summer or I'm lost.

I am all about the chocolate when in creative mode which probably explains my current state of fluffiness.

I don't usually eat when creating either, afraid to get messy prints on things. I do usually have a drink, water or a nice cuppa Earl Grey!

my crafting space is upstairs and I go up to create and get away from snacking, besides I smudge my cards with ink and can only imagine what they would look like with greasy fingerprints too
