Let's See!
I have a feeling that happy mail will be arriving at homes very soon - perhaps this weekend??? We're all looking forward to seeing YOUR creations with the latest release goodies so I thought we'd start a thread for you to share!
Of course you can always upload your TCP creations using keywords tcp or thecatspajamas - we love to see what you come up with!! :p Here's a quick CAS I uploaded today using Kick Some Grass: Bestest Friend |
I got my order in record time but haven't found the time to do any stamping yet. Your card is adorable Julie!
|
My order arrived Friday (love super fast shipping!) and was able to pick it up today finally and now wanted to rave about my goodies.
Neenah Classic Crest - 110# smooth cardstock - Julie, you recommended this a few weeks back in another section of SCS, and I'm so glad you did! This stuff is nice and sturdy, perfect for card bases, and is so smooth! Most of my previous attempts at finding a good base cardstock in white have been either too textured or too flimsy, so I think I'm going to be hooked once I try coloring on this. Stamps! Those bunnies are even cuter when you hold the stamp set in your hands! Love the larger sentiment sizes and font in Kick Some Grass, and I think paper-piecers will love Away We Go (bunny in hot air balloon). Lastly - seam binding ribbon! oh my goodness, the packaging for this is fantastic! Each color comes wrapped around a cream tag, with a sticker on the tag to identify the color and length (all 6 yards) - and all of the ribbon-wrapped tags are tied together like a colorful little swatch book. I have a feeling I'll be ordering more of this stuff - the ribbon has just a little shine to it yet it's still thin that I don't think mailing cards with bows will be a problem, and the colors are beeeeaauteous! :D ps. Julie, your Kick Some Grass card went right into my favorites! |
LOVE hearing this Makalah!!
I am so hooked on the Neenah paper- it's the perfect shade of white and like you said the perfect thickness! I love that Alma carries it in 25 sheet packs - and the cream color too!! One stop shopping makes me happy! :) And the stamps and seam binding - so glad you love them like we do! Can't wait to see what you use first! |
Well drat. I didn't buy any of the seam binding. If you could see my ribbon stash you would understand why I hesitated! It sounds fabulous though - will be on my list for next time.
Oh, and went into panic mode this afternoon. I couldn't find the TCP stamps/dies I got in the mail this week. Normally I put my "new and not yet used" stamps in a clear bag so I'll turn to them first when I get started on a card. They weren't in there. Actually wound up cleaning off my work table looking for them as I figured they were just laying up under something. NOT THERE. But then I noticed another plastic bag which contains my design team stamps. Could I have put them in the wrong bag? Yep. There they were. Crisis over!! And I got a clean table out of it. |
