Bing and David Bowie singing Little Drummer Boy. Course I also like Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer, too. So there you go. Have had my instrumental Christmas CD's playing for over a week now. All Christmas music all the time!!!
I like a lot of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra songs for a slightly more rockin' Xmas. Also Mariah Carey's All I want for Christmas... And pretty much everything from a Christmas cassette tape we listened to repeatedly as kids (not that I know the title of it now).
all of it! Except anything by Johnny Mathis. His voice makes me crazy. Especially love Andy Williams' Christmas Album and I love any Christmas hymn, although The First Noel is not my favorite, probably for obvious reasons (see my name). Have been tortured to death with that one my whole life!
I have so many favorites! A few are: Winter Song by Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson; Christmas Day by Dido; River - pretty much any version, but James Taylor's is a favorite; and The Gift by Garth Brooks.
Wow, those are all pretty melancholy. I also love the entire John Denver and the Muppets CD and Jimmy Buffet's Christmas Island CD when I'm in the mood for something more fun and upbeat!
You know, I forgot about Kenny Chesney Christmas album. Like that one too. Oh and Alan Jackson's Christmas album. Ok, I like A LOT of different types of music, so it is really hard to pick just one!! Got Micheal Buble in now to be followed by the Rat Pack Christmas CD, then to be followed by Manheim Steamroller.
