Swapping & Returning: Deck the Halls II, due 10/24/12
Hi all! I hosted a Christmas Swap 3 years ago and really enjoyed it and decided to do it again. I love making Christmas cards and want to see what you all can make as you are a very talented group of women!
Here are the details:
Description: Must be full cards 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
Quantity: 5 + 1 YOU WILL NOT GET ONE OF YOUR OWN BACK SO MAKE SURE YOU MAKE AN EXTRA FOR YOURSELF. The +1 is for the hostess. No envelopes necessary.
Vendor products: NVR on everything, but please use good quality cardstock such as SU. Please use at least 2 layers & at least 1 embellishment.
You can sign up for as much spots as you want to but you have to make a different card for each spot. Please sign the back of your cards! It drives me nuts when I get a card in a swap and I don't know who to give the credit to! Sign your SCS name on the back and you may sign your real name too if you like. Someone may want to leave a comment in your gallery!
DeadlinePlease have in my hands by 10/24/12. Late swaps will be returned!! I want these all returning by November 1 so we can all make some for Christmas!
Mailing Instructions: Please place cards in a zip lock bag for waterproof purposes. Write your SCS name and your real name on the zip lock bag.
PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULL!!!! Swap return: Please include self-addressed stamped envelope. The amount of postage on your SASE should be the same amount used to mail to hostess. Please do not send me cash to buy your stamps. I work full time and do not have the time to do that. Thank you! Also, please include a couple extra stamps in case the return cards have heavier embellishments. Postage will be returned if not used. For Canadian swappers, money for the return envelope must be in U.S. stamps or U.S. money. No metered mail please.

I will give prizes for the first 5 that sign up!
When I receive your cards I will put your name in GREEN!
Welcome Pansy and thanks for joining! So I forgot to ask, when you are a fair judge, what do you judge? I know in your post you mentioned photography.
Gotta get ready for work!
Photography is my main thing....I love to do it especially when I am able to visit with the kids about what, why and when they took the photo. I am qualified to judge leathercraft also but haven't done it for several years as the number of entries is way down.
Am expecting to break 1100 entries at our county fair...Last year we did 1085. time will tell if my guess is correct.
c-mouse-If you can't say nuttin nice--don't say nuttin at all. Thumper.

A novice drill instructor escorted a group of new recruits to the mess hall, which is one of a drill instructors many responsibilities. After everyone had made it through the chow line, he sat them down and told them, "There are three rules in this mess hall: Shut up! Eat up! Get up!"
Checking to see that he had everyone's attention, he asked, "What is the first rule?"
Much to the amusement of the other instructors, 60 privates yelled in unison, "Shut up, Drill Sergeant!"
