Oklahoma City: A man was on trial for the armed robbery of a convenience store in a district court when he fired his lawyer. The assistant district attorney said the man was doing a fair job of defending himself until the store manager testified that he was the robber. The defendant jumped up, accused the woman of lying and then said, "I should of blown your (expletive) head off." The defendant paused, then quickly added, "If I'd been the one that was there." The jury took 20 minutes to convict him and recommended a 30 year sentence.
Went to church - we had a contemporary worship service which I love. Went to SWELL (an nature conservatory), came home and had a nap this afternoon, then watched the MN Vikings win, and now am going to stamp. It's been a pretty good day!

reminding us that Things Aren’t Always As They Seem!
Betty was soon to be married. More than anything, she wanted to wear the wedding dress her mother was married in. Betty's mother was beaming with pride as she gave her consent.
Later in the evening, the family gathered in the living room to wait while Betty tried on the dress. When Betty entered the room, there was a chorus of approval. The dress fit perfectly and looked wonderful on her.
Tears ran down the face of Betty's mother.
Seeing this, Betty said, "Don't worry Mom, you're not losing a daughter, your gaining a son."
"Forget about that!" she said with a sob. "I used to fit into that dress!"
Caught up on some sleep today from the weekend and then got energetic. Cleaned out my food cupboard, dusted and vacuumed and went through 4 drawers in my dresser and did a little crafting. Now, I'm tired again. LOL Love, hugs and prayers=grandmajudy

A bank robber in Virginia Beach got a nasty surprise when a dye pack designed to mark stolen money exploded in his Fruit-of-the-Looms. The robber apparently stuffed the loot down the front of his pants as he was running out the door. "He was seen hopping and jumping around with an explosion taking place inside his pants," said a police spokesman. Police have the man's charred trousers in custody.

Went to a different doctor yesterday for a second opinion (my arm aches and tingles all the time). This guy was very good!

In Rhode Island, cops were sure they had the right guy when the suspect in a string of coin-machine thefts paid his $400 bail entirely in quarters.
FYI – I have to be out of town ALL day tomorrow for a meeting four hours from my home
(lots of driving, taking minutes, exhausting kind of day)….
So there will be no Public Service Announcement tomorrow.

I have my new computer up and running. There is still something wrong with my modum but cable is coming to check out in the am. It's great to be online again.
