Name of Swap: Cricut cards and images
I have the cricut, probably the oldest version... and I would like to start using it more. I would love to see how everyone else is using their cricut when making cards! I saw a cricut swap, but it was too late to join... so I thought I'd get another cricut swap going. While we're cutting we may as well cut a few extra images and swap those too! If you're like me, I have to lug that thing out...do my cutting... then put it all away... so why not cut a few extras, then when you get your swap back you'll hopfully have a few images that will be new and inspiring!
Description: Full cards, envelopes not required. Your card must have something cut from your cricut. It doesn't matter what cricut you own, just be sure to use it for this swap! For your card, use at least 2 layers and it must have at least 1 embellishment. High quality card stock only. In addition to your card, include a loose cricut cutout for each card you make. We will be swapping cards and images. Keep the image cutout to a size that fits in your card.
Quantity: 3+1 cards and 3+1 images You will make 4 cards and cut 4 images and receive 3 cards and 3 loose images in return (the plus one is for the hostess) Assuming we have enough participants, you will not get your own back so be sure to make an extra for yourself! You may sign up for more than 1 spot, but each spot you sign up for must be a different designed card and different cutout image.
Vendor products: High quality supplies only. No vendor restrictions. But must use your Cricut (any model)
Take Credit: Feel free to claim your talent with post-it notes. They work great! Also be sure to post on the thread once you receive yours back.
Deadlines: Sign-up deadline: July 15th Due IN my Hands: August 1st (If there are late arrivals it will be returned to sender as I do not want to hold up the swap for the rest of the group because I plan on swapping them out ASAP) Return Date: I will send them postal within a week. Usually I get them out fast as I know everyone will be excited for them back! And I will hold firm to the due date.
Mailing instructions: Packaging:
Place swap items in a large baggie for waterproof purposes. Write your real name, SCS name and “cricut swap” on a piece of paper and include in the baggie for identification purposes. Swap Return:
First Class: Place baggie inside a self-addressed stamped envelope for return mail purposes. The amount of postage on your SASE should be the same amount that it takes to mail to the swap hostess. To insure that enough postage will cover the returned swap items, include 3 additional postage stamps which will be returned if not used.
Priority: Inside your baggie, include a self-addressed priority label, envelope and one priority stamp.
*DO NOT send metered postage as we all know they only work for day of purchase!! Canadian Friends: Please send a self addressed envelope with $6 US cash. I will send you change in US money and/or US postage. Please note: I cannot be responsible for lost or stolen mail. Although this has never happened to me before, you just never know what could happen these days.

I ordered a new cart, one that I've been wanting for a LONG time and gonna be busy using it soon! Can't wait to play well I cant' say which one, since I'll be using it for this swap
I would love to join this swap.
I have an Expressions and Create that I use to carry for crops. I also own a Gypsy so I think I can come up with something. I haven't made a lot of cards using the Cricuit usually scrapbooking.

I have pretty much finished my cards this past weekend, just need to do one stamp. I really hadn't made cards that much using my cricut but I think now I'm going to do more.

Yeah, I finally can add a message to this board. Thank you Jennny for adding me. This is my first swap and I'm excited to join. Actually, this is my first time joining a group. I own the Expression and have been making cards for over a year & have a Pinterest page. If anyone would like to see my cards, please go to http://pinterest.com/maryr2012.
I read the instructions but just want to be clear on the card size A2 or my choice?.
Thanks

Oh my gosh Chris, what a lovely comment I really am touched. None of my friends or family are into crafting so I really appreciate your kind words. After viewing so many gorgious cards on SCS, IMO my cards pale in comparison and I was hesitant to join the Cricut swap but thought I'd give it a go.
