Wiggy...the widdler? (as in carving ones own stamps)!!! I don't even like to put stamps together--let alone carve them--Power to you honeybuns!!!
I totally missed the half time show--I was never a fan of Madonna--saw her recently in an interview on 20/20 and have to say...I still don't like her!!! hahaha (sorry) I feel Lady GaGa is a younger/newer version of Madonna...ya think? Except Madonna used words in her songs instead of grunting? <eeek> I am bad....Back then I think it was Carly Simon and Earth Wind and Fire, Motown, Allman Bros, Dan Fogelberg, more rock bands that would take long to list...
Kinda pooped tonight--lets see how long I last!

Oh Wow!! Great kits. I love that blue kit since it is my favorite color and the candies look awesome. Pat your pinks was gorgeous too. Lots of great kits arriving. I am always impressed with everyone's talent at putting these kits together.
My last SS package had some things in it for my Smashbook. I'm using them tonight..
Here are some photos of me and Gunner and his big sis Jade.
Aleeyah came to visit her new cousin so I had her in my lap too.

Heather and Wiggy: Are either of you doing any Jubilee activities this week? On the news it sounded like a good time.

Oh ugh. TJ is soooo hungry. He's downstairs sobbing on the floor because Caleb is on the computer and he can't do it. I know that all the drama is really because I accidentally put Caleb's lunch in TJ's backpack and vice-versa. Then he had basketball practice. Cook lasagna, cook! I thought I was so smart to have it done by 6:15 in my stove's time-bake option but apparently I SHOULD have made it for 6:00. Ugh. Cook lasagna, cook!

I hadn't really noticed any...or maybe hadn't paid attention. Probably not. Once I waddle home from work, it seems like a great idea to just stay here!
Susanne - I just laughed about your comments about the half time show. I still say some of the best music was in the 70's. Styx, Journey, Eagles, Peter Frampton, etc. Guess my age is showing. HA!
Someone at work commented about the fact that Madonna looks so good especially when you know her age...she said she was very well preserved. My friend said not well preserved just rebuilt!! Pretty funny huh??
Tracie and Pat- Fabulous kits ! Have fun creating !
5th anniversary at PTI. I'm every day on their blog in the hope I win a MEGA PRIZE package. How cool would it be ? Stamps for Free for a year? Please, Please, Please....!! I'm addicted to PTI ? LOL

Hi, Honey, I'm home!!............
Where does the time go? It's hard to believe it's Wednesday already!
The Craft Farm was wonderful!! <she says with a dreamy sigh> In my little fantasy world, the entire group of us here would get to do something like this! I would have loved to have all of you ladies at a gathering like that, what fun!! Not only got a chance to update my scrapbooks, but made about 20 cards, too!
Guess I'd better get caught up on all the chatting i've missed around here...

Late 60s and 70s..fab! Love everyone group you named here! I'll go back just a bit to Iron Butterfly; there was something about the beat of "inagaddadivita" that I LOVED (guess I was kind of a music "headbanger" back when!) One of the best concerts I went to years ago was Alice Cooper's "Welcome to My Nightmare" The theatrics and stage setup was great! LOL But, I also loved Tina Turner's shows and Barry Manilow!! A show that was a "shocker" was All My Rowdy Friends performance by Hank Williams Jr.! I thought this will be boring...I was wrong!
Guess I need to come back to the future and get ready for work! LOL

I consulted on a parent teacher conference for Alice Cooper's son, Dashiel. He is a REALLY nice guy.

Wiggy ... it's the Queen's diamond jubilee this month (tho apparently they aren't going to celebrate in the UK until June when her coronation was) I read somewhere that Canada was going to celebrate THIS month to be different. It was an on-line article so it could be COMPLETELY false.

Me too, Donelda. I didn't even get my granddaughter a card made for her 18th birthday that was Saturday. Bad granny here. DH had to *gasp* go out and buy one. Same for DH! His birthday was groundhogs day...I bought him a card. BUT, I do have his Valentine's Day card made. yay me! LOL
Hey everyone. I've posted all the dreary news across the hall so keeping things light here.
Kathy, glad you got your card before your birthday. I cheated and combined 2 things, that is also you WRAK bday fairy card...I meant to tell you it was for both so you wouldn't feel cheated on getting a card short for WRAK.
Thanks all of you for the concern for Kyle. I appreciate all of you so much. This is what happens when you have a large family, something always going on.
Now to get caught up on DT's, image challenge, christmas challenges etc. I've got to get busy.
Patti, so glad you had fun this weekend.
For Tomorrow:
Happy Birthday Kathy!!!

Happy Birthday Kathy!!!
Welcome Back Patti!!!
"Inagaddadivita" Vickie!!!haha (you wild thang-great song tho) and <gasp> I also "bought" a funny card for my sister pertaining to celebrating Valentines Day
GREETING CARD:
Here I was at my local grocery store and saw this lil' lady holding a HUGE (HUGE) glass of red wine in one hand and a fairly normal size glass of wine in another hand...Caption read;"We should limit ourselves to only a couple of glasses of wine on Valentines Day"...too funny--her cheeks were real rosy too! Sis got a kick out of it! {This is the first card in years...that I have bought from a store?!!!}
Saturday I will be featured in a Trunk Show at a local store--doing a demo on Paper Quilling--It should be interesting! Hope I get some interested customers (and orders)...we shall see!
Have a great day everyone!
Favorite Bands: Motown, Allman Bros, Stixx, Chicago, Dan Fogelberg,<-still own everything he made-RIP Dan!, Earth Wind and Fire, Loggins and Messina, The Young Rascals, oh the list goes on and on...my older bros were in a band "5 of a Kind"--practiced in our basement--they were good too! LOUD...busy house growing up with 7 of us around!

The above "factoid" is in Trivia Pursuit--I answered the above question and won the game for my team!!! I learned soo-soo much in college!!! hahahaha

Happy Birthday, Kathy!! Enjoy your day!
Tracie, I gotta agree with you, I'm a child (well, a teen) of the 70's and I loved those very bands you spoke of...Styx, Journey, Eagles, Chicago, too. My SIL lives in the Cincinnati area, and she says every once in awhile she runs into Peter Frampton in Kroger's! I guess he lives in a Cinci suburb now.
Seeing Madonna at Super Bowlhalftime made me think of the time I went to see her in concert in Detroit--in her hometown! The only tickets I could get were scalped and they cost a small fortune, but well worth it, because she puts on quite a show--and she always has the best male dancers with her !! I guess I'm the odd gal out, because football is one of my very favorite spectator sports, and my DH is always bragging to his friends that he married a woman who knows about football and can talk intelligently about it. (boy, do I ever have him fooled! I just like the guys with the big shoulders and tight pants! <heehee>)
okay, i'm prolly sounding stoopid, because I am very tired. Just got home from work (it's 8:02 am here) and I've got to be back tonight at 7pm, so I'd better go to bed. ENJOY today--especially YOU, BIRTHDAY GIRL!!

Taking SCS break while at work; just wanted to say good morning!
And, give Kathy another HAPPY BIRTHDAY shout!
I live in a resort town and way back when the Amusement Park here would bring in the big name rockers so I got to see lots of groups from the 60s. The Turtles, Strawberry Alarm Clock, are two groups that come to mind without really thinking! Would have to put my thinking cap on to recall the other groups we got to rock to on hometown soil! LOL oh, and the Moody Blues!
Guess I should get back to work since I've gobbled my protein bar up and am drinking my fourth cup of coffee.

I agree Patti, Madonna puts on a GREAT show. I saw her Blonde Ambition tour in LA when I was young. Loved it!
And I like football too. My dad had no boys so my sister and I divided up the seasons to watch (we didn't intend to, but it worked out that way) I watched football with him and she watched baseball with him. And we all watched basketball. To this day I can talk FARRRRR more intelligently about sports than my darling geek husband. I guess I wasn't interested in THIS Super Bowl game. The Pats and Giants go to the Game too often. It just seemed like a re-run of 2008. (My apologies Susanne ... I just wanna see some new teams)
When I was going to college, I worked at the Phoenician Resort as a Concierge. I met quite a few celebs. Some are great, like real people and some are waaaaay high maintenance!
