Good Afternoon--I had a great day in Madison. I spent over 1 1/2 hours at the stamp store that is closing--bought ribbon, paper, brads, ribbon, a couple of dies, some ribbon, a bookshelf and more ribbon. 60% off is too good to pass up. I then picked up LJ and we had a good lunch. I went back to the west side as I did not have time to stop at Archivers before lunch and got a couple of stamps there--Mo Manning! Then, I did stop one more time at the LSS and got--you guessed it--more ribbon! They did have all of their fixtures for sale and they had some good prices, but I really did not need paper racks, or towers or slat boards, etc. But, they had a nice wooden bookcase behind their front desk for $20 that is about 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Not sure if it will go in my stamp room or not, but I do have an idea of where it might go--we'll see.
Hello everyone! Just got home a little bit ago. I went to a local coffee house with some friends after work that I don't get to see so much since I moved a couple of years ago. We still live in the same county, but I live out in the country now and in a different area. Anyway, we had a good time!

Good Morning--it is Friday! It is very cold, temps in the low single digits and wind chill of -20 or so. Then, it warms up enough for us to get 4-6 inches of snow later this morning! So, staying put today, making a pot of chicken noodle soup (first time for that) as some friends are coming out tomorrow to go snowshowing. New snow will be good for the trails, so that should be fun.
I completed a swap yesterday and am working on a challenge card--I hope to finish today. I also moved the new/used bookshelf to the basement and will see if it will work in mu craft room. I also need to cut more foam board squares to roll the ribbon I got this week. So, a fun day in the craft room is on the agenda!
I hope you have a wonderful day--stay warm and stay safe!
I thought Jeanette was in it? Yes, Illinois is to get pounded with snow, but not sure how far south it is to go.
Yep...your snow is from the storm that is in southern MN...we are on the northern part of it. (1-2 inches for us) I think there are winter storm warnings south of us and in IA. Its all moving east.

WHEW! I just checked the weather forecast. We're good. Chance of rain today - temps in the mid-30's. Mid 30's tomorrow, too... but on Sunday we are to get up to 50! The rest of the 7-day forecast shows us in the 40's.

Good News on the weather Jeanette--you are south of the snow then. The Illinois/Wisconsin border is to get much more than we are. Kenosha will get lots and lots!

Oh no! I hope DS (and Miss America, too... since she's from Kenosha) stay safe in the snow storm.
