Receiving ~ Thank You Cards ~ Due March 6th
Are you always in need of Thank You cards? Do you need some ideas to make more of your own? If so, then come and join this swap! This is the fourth annual Thank You Cards Swap! If you were in this swap the last couple of years, you got back some awesome cards. Join us and get more this time.
You can make any type of Thank You card. It can be for a birthday, a friend who listened to you, a business type card, a gift you received, etc. Any type of THANKS you want to give! Sign up for as many spots as you'd like, but please, make a different design for each spot you take. We had 103 spots in last years swap--let's try to beat that in 2013!
Description: Full Size Card - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Please use at least 2 layers & 1 embellishment! You must have a stamped image on the front of your card--punch art is fine, but please no all cricut images or other die cuts like that.
Quantity: 5+1 -You will not get one of your own back, so make an extra one for yourself!
Vendor Products: Any stamp from any company but PLEASE use very good quality cardstock (SU/PTI/GKD). No vendor restriction on embellishments - use as many embellishments as you like. Designer papers are encouraged, but not required.
Due Date: Wednesday, March 6th - I will mail them as soon as I receive all swaps! If I receive the swaps early, I will send them out early. If your cards are received after the due date, I may have to return them to you.
Mailing instructions: Place swap cards in a large baggie for waterproof purposes. Write your real name, SCS name and swap name on a piece of paper or the baggie for identification purposes.
Swap Return: Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope. The amount of postage on your SASE should be the same amount used to mail to hostess. Please include 2 additional stamps to insure enough postage to return swap--additional postage will be returned if not used. PLEASE SEND ONLY POSTAGE STAMPS, NO DATED STAMPS OR METERED MAIL--My Post Office will not take them. If you would rather use Priority mail, please include one $5.60 priority stamp and a self-addressed priority label. I will provide priority envelope. Please note--there was a huge increase in the cost to mail outside the US. Please send $8 US cash or stamps for one set of cards and $10 for two sets and even more money if you have three of more sets of cards to swap. I will return whatever is left to you.
Please post or PM me with any questions.
Please mail swaps to:
Barb Deichl

I see my friend Rachel is here. She is one of the two people that I have met on SCS. We live about 20 miles apart.

Roxane! 20 miles apart and all I've managed to do is explain pleasantries at the library! Perhaps over Christmas break I can treat you to a cup of coffee and a real chat?

My mom was the proud recipient of my first handmade card. Cost $200.

Happy Friday.................................. I am going to spend the day in the stamp room and get ahead on a few swaps before things start to get hectic for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is to be a nice day with sunshine, so I also plan to take a walk and enjoy it.

That would be great Rachel! You know where to find me! The best time would be Tuesdays at 5 p.m. or Wed. or Thurs. morning anytime before 12 p.m.

Good morning!
We have a big day at church today. After the service we are having a Mission Fest! We have a soup and BBQ meal, are selling lefse, and having a silent auction. Oh yeah, the choir, which I am, in is singing "Just a Little Talk with Jesus" which I requested. It's going to be a fun day!
