Good Morning Ladies--heading home today. Yes, I had a really nice time with Dyna--DPJ here on SCS. She picked me up at the hotel and took me to San Antonio Art Stamps store--very cute store with a couple of local stamp lines too. She then treated me to a great Mexican lunch and brought me back to the hotel--Fun Stuff!
The banquet was nice last night and a retired AD from Wis. recieved a special national award. I do plan to beat the winter storm--I am flying through Atlanta and get into Milwaukee around 5:30. The storm is not supposed to get there until later tonight!
It has been a wonderful convention, but I am ready to get home...................

This is kind of what it looks like outside today--but right now it is raining.............. We had about 3 inches of snow overnight and it has been raining since about 7 this morning--so now it is huge slushy mess. It will turn back to snow later and we still are to get about 8-10 inches. There are blizzard warnings west and north of us as it has been snowing all night and the winds are pretty strong.
I had no trouble getting home and just chilled last night while roomie went to a choir party. I have no plans for today--other than doing wash and getting caught up online.
I hope everyone who is in this storm's path stays safe............... and dry!
I wish it would snow on Christmas, but living in Florida it won't happen! I do like being able to wear shorts in December!!
Merry Christmas - may not be on with all the Christmas activities!!

Hello Ladies--we did get quite a bit of snow--I think around 8 inches. I had a dentist appointment this morning and then some errands. I am just finishing up a digital scrapbook--not a Christmas present but a summary of 2011. I have made a memory book for the past three years.

Hello---Happy Saturday Afternoon!
We went for a hike at the park with two friends and their dog this morning--we went three miles and we out for close to 2 hours. It was nice in the woods--no wind and I even took off my mittens as my hands got pretty warm.
We are going to an open house later this afternoon--it is for a friend who is moving to Singapore for a year or more to open a new office for his business.

Here is the card I made for this swap. This is the first card I have made in months....actually the first card I have made since diagnosed with MS. Not up to my usual yet but think it turned out cute.

We had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends and I'm ready for a rest from cooking two big feasts the last several days. Hoping to find some energy to check out some after Christmas sales.
Hope Santa brought you what was on your wish list!

This is a cute little lady-bug! I was thinking black and red would be a hard combination to do because it's so dark but you've done a great job!
