In 1989 I attended Rubberama Rubber Stamp Convention in San Jose, CA. From then on I was addicted to rubber stamping.
I have been published in The Rubber Stamper, Vamp Stamp News and Stamping Arts and Crafts. Also, I've just been published in "Just Steampunk," Vol. 2. It's an ATC I made for an SCS PAT ATC swap.
I joined SCS in Dec. 2004 and lurked quite a while before joining a swap. My first swap was either an Asian themed or Ladybug ATC swap. I agonized over whether my work was good enough but as soon as I received my return swaps in the mail, I was hooked. My favorite swap has to be "100 Inchies in 100 Days." I ended making 300 inchies.
Favorite tools of the trade---I love my Cuttlebug and the dies and embossing folders, a sharp detail scissors and my Punch Bunch flower corner punch that makes 3 sizes of tiny flowers which have become one of my signature embellishments and, of course, my MacBook Pro which keeps me plugged in to SCS, stamping blogs and all sorts of sites to shop for new ideas and products. I have made many IFFs (Imaginary Friends Forever) here on SCS and have met many of them in person.
I am on a design team for Stamp N Plus and recently started a blog: Paulette's a Paper-Artzy .
My other passion is travel. I've been to Italy, China, the Western Mediterranean, London, Paris, Amsterdam, the Panama Canal, Alaska and Germany. I've also been on 3 stamping/mixed media art cruises.
Visiting the SCS forum and gallery are part of my daily routine and I love the chatter in the swap threads I participate in and love reading comments to my gallery posts and making comments to some of the awesome artwork posted in the SCS gallery. It's my favorite part of my day.
