Will be stalking the maillady for the rest of the month. I had planned to take in a box of cards today but Mother Nature is promising us freezing rain and I will probably wait until the week-end to take them in if weather permits. I am so excited, I have set so many out to photograph before I take them in, I love all the ideas that make me think, why didn't I think of that? Blessings, Martha

I have cards packaged up for Martha for January as well a Ms.Feburuary--Jane!

Linda--is there a chance you can get the addresses for the September, October and December hostesses? I realize it is very early--but I wanted to print out a sheet with all of the monthly hostesses and have it for my swap folder. Thanks!

I've spent hours this afternoon/evening sorting through my stash of cards. I've discovered I have TONS of Christmas cards! Maybe I won't even need to make any for this coming Christmas 2013.

Anyway, I'm going to sort out some for Ms. February and get them out in a week or so. I'll be so proud of myself to actually be AHEAD of a swap (for once).

Red face Sorry I've been crazy, as usual!

I'm getting things together! I had to order sleeves and am waiting for my order to come in. I already have envelopes, so that is not a problem.

As soon as I get it in, I'll get them packaged and get an invoice out to you.

I'll let you know as soon as they come in.

I was just wondering if you received my cards yet? They were 12 z-fold cards with a butterfly on them.

Thanks,

No rush for me on the sleeves & envelopes. I've got about 100 envelopes scattered in places in my craft room and "storage" area. I'm also using clear envelopes instead of the sleeves for right now. I should be good for at least a month.

Who knows! Maybe I'll figure out a PayPal account before you are ready to ship. I'm getting the feeling that PayPal is the way to go!

Can you post a picture of your z-card? It's not clear to me what you are referring to (my mind is a little tired right now ). Thanks!

I don't actually have a card to post a picture of because I sent all 12. It is a card that is folded at 4 1/2 and then again at 2 1/8 forming a z or s. They all have a 3-d glitter butterfly on the front. I just want to make sure that they arrived.

Thanks,
Cheryl

OMGosh! You are so incredibly organized. If I did that I'd loose the list in a few days. You know....put it in a safe place! Then can't remember where the safe place is!

I think I'll try the Z-fold idea tomorrow (or is it later today?).
I usually send all my cards off and THEN I think about taking a picture! I keep saying....I've got to get more organized.

I have a folder with all of the swap infomation in it--a calendar with swaps filled in the squares, a spreadsheet from this site with the hostess information and then a sheet with the details on each swap. I copy the information from the first post on each swap I join with details on the swap and the hostess name/address. My way of staying organized!

These are the beautiful z fold butterfly cards I received from Cheryl/mzinkspot. Cheryl, these are great, I have some of those butterflies, and have not been able to figure out what to do with them, I just have to case this card. Thank you so much!

Default Linda/seanryan6's cards

Now for a closer look at the assortment I received from Linda/seanryan6. I cannot decide which ones I will case, there are so many I like, especially the thank you pot of flowers (Is the pot the ornament punch with the bottom cut off?), great cards, thank you so much.

I see your Z! How did you make those butterflies? I have a friend who is just nuts about butterflies. She makes them all the time. I don't think she's ever made any like yours.

Your cards are beautiful.

Barb, your cards came today, they are awesome, I need the teapot and teacups stamp. What set is that and is it still current? I am doing a tea party for the little girls (6th grade and under at our church in about a month and this would be perfect for the invitations. Miss Arkansas goes to our church and we are planning to try and get her to give her testimony one week-end when she is home. We are combining it with a tea party.

Hi,

I'm not sure if I sent my address by pm or not, but it's:

K. Tracy Fabian
210 E Grand St
Nanticoke, PA 18634

I just found out for sure today that I am going to have surgery on my left hand. I've been having a terrible time with carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands for the last several weeks (I've had it since college, but it's become a real problem just lately) and the doctor wants to get the left hand done ASAP. I had the right one done a year ago and he said I'm his first patient in 35 years to have it come back. Lucky me.

Anyway, I'm working feverishly to get the next few months worth of cards done so that everyone will get theirs on time. I don't expect there to be any problems keeping my commitments to this swap and any others I'm in.

Did anyone else get snow today? We only got about an inch, but the roads ices up really badly and of course, right in the middle of the storm, my husband got let out of work early and I had the car, so I had to drive up one of the worst mountain roads in the area to pick him up. I think I want to retire somewhere where it doesn't snow. Flurries on Christmas Eve are fine, but no lousy driving.

Have a good week,

Thanks, now off to find a flower stem stamp,
I too have done the z fold several times since receiving those, you are right, we tend to forget we know how to do them.
I love getting the cards, photographing them for later casing then off to the house with them and seeing the pleasure it brings and the grattitude from the staff makes it a blessing to me. Martha

I took 100 cards in to Little Rock Ronald McDonald house yesterday. To see them so excited to get them and to actually have people start to go through them and ooh and ahh while I am still there give me a blessing that I wish I could share with you all.
Thank you and I will be taking more in the next time we go to Little Rock.
Thank you ladies for helping make this a reality instead of just an idea!

Sandra,
I did not make the butterflies that are on my Z-cards. I bought them at my local scrapbook store, Scrapbooking Made Simple. She sells them 5 in a package for 99 cents. I think I have just about every color of the rainbow as I they are so pretty and really add a nice touch to a card.

I had the right one done a year ago and he said I'm his first patient in 35 years to have it come back. Lucky me.

Let us know when you have your surgery!

She sells them for 5 for 99 cents!!! Good grief, that is a STEAL! Sounds like a very nice store. Wish we had some nice scrapbook / rubber stamp stores around here. Only have the big craft stores (Michaels, Joann's, Ben Franklin).
