I'm kicking Murphy out of my home! UGH!!! January has been the month from.....well, I don't use such language but let's just say that January has not been a good month. It's been a very COSTLY month! Are you ready for this?:
2 tires for DH's car - $230
2 tires for my car - $173
used dryer - $150
AAA renewal - $150
my car repair - that I thought was only going to be $30 - $269
And the topper......this past Saturday DH's axle broke....$424!
Sorry I've been MIA...but life has been happening all over the place here in NE Ohio. But alas, it's a NEW MONTH!
No matter what that little furry critter said in PA today - it's springtime in Ohio! The last two days have been 55 and today it's only 40...but gee, this time last year everything was white and cold so 40 and green seems like a heatwave! LOL!!!
Anywho - just wanted to say hi and let you know I'm still here in the land of the living...and hopefully February won't be as "costly". LOL!!
Thank you Tess! I received your card kit today!!! I love Magnolia stamps and I cannot wait to pull out my Copics and color. Coloring is so relaxing and I am going to need some of that. The paper is super cute I think these will make perfect Magnolia cards!!
Thanks again.
My feb kit is ready for group 1 and i was hoping to mail it tomorrow but I have some sinus thing going on and I think I just want to sleep all day, so hopefully I'll get it out on Monday instead.
I'm excited to have received 3 kits! SizzixQueen sent two card kits! One is a spring/Easter theme including felt flowers and Easter egg paper! The second is a Christmas theme including different stamped images, velvet paper, and winter/Christmas embellishments! Love the images! Thanks so much!
I also received a great kit from angelac12! In addition to the cute stamped images(sorry, but I don't know the name of the stamps!), the kit included pink/brown floral paper (I love the tiny pattern!), matching ribbon, matching punched flowers and some bling! Thanks also for the embossed paper! I think I will make sure to include some embossed paper in the kits I send in the future, because it looks so nice with the other things you sent in the kit. Thank you!
JanetJ also sent me a lovely kit! Her kit was a Valentine's theme. I haven't made my Valentine's yet, so I plan to use this kit this week! I don't know the name of the Moose images you sent, but I love them! In addition to a variety of valentine's papers, the kit included a bag full of different valentine's ribbons, bling, buttons, 3-D glitter hearts, and neat plastic hearts. Thanks for the nice variety you sent!
Thanks, again, for the wonderful kits. I love the variety of themes you have sent!
Take care,
Marcia
I am, thank you for asking. Last night was the first night of normal sleep I'd had in nearly a week. Still a bit of congestion but I'm thinking I should be over that by the weekend. Thank goodness, because I'm taking a class at Archiver's and it would s-u-c-k to be sick for that!
Happy Friday everyone!
Did we get an address for February yet? If so, I haven't seen it.

Ooops! Went and looked in my "in box" and there it was! Don't know how I missed that!
Have a good weekend everyone!

I'm running behind...UGH! Tess, I meant to get your kit out this weekend but it just didn't happen (snow storm)....will try to get it out in the next couple days...but might be as late as Saturday since I can only mail from the PO instead of my usual place (grocery store) and I can't get the PO before it closes...will try to get someone else to mail for me but can't guarantee...I'm so sorry I'm running behind.
Received a very heavy package from Jami today! Love the colors!!! Thanks!
I think there are 2 still out there. Spoke to the postman today. He told me that they have closed a PO in the next city and they are routing their mail through my PO and one other one. This is causing a delay in receiving mail as they did not bring over any new employees, only added to the existing routes.
Hopefully the last ones will come in this week.
Thanks for the shower!! I have lots to do on the cold wintery days that are ahead of us. It is finally snowing here. We have not had any bad weather yet this year. I am really hoping for a snow day tomorrow!!
Tres - your package is in the mail! Can you believe it - I found an acutal PO that was open until 7pm!!! LOL!!! Of course the clerk didn't seem to happy about that....but oh well.

Zella, did you maybe send to Tess, not Tres? Tess is Bradsmom06. She is Feb. in your group. All the names get a little confusing sometimes.
Cool that you found one open that late! The latest one we have here is open until 5:30. We have an APC machine which I love, but you can't send to Canada, or anywhere else that requires a customs form using it.
I received another great kit from Tina Wallace! Thanks so much! The kit had the cutest images (sorry, I don't know the manufacturer!), and included pretty floral paper with plenty of pink, which is a color I love! It's topped off with a generous assortment of foam and resin hearts and coordinating fibers. I hope to get a chance to create soon!
Thanks again,
Marcia

Oops - silly me - I meant Tess.....sorry! Guess my fingers get going a lot faster than my brain does. LOL!!!
