Hello ~

I am home, and had such a fun day with my sis and Tavi. My BIL also joined us for awhile after he was done with "class".

This is where we "played" all day:

Wisconsin Indoor Water Park | Dells Family Vacation | Greatwolf.com

They have 3 indoor waterpark areas, plus my BIL's work covered his room for two nights which included the waterpark passes. It was a lot of fun and even I went down a few of the water-slides. Tavi absolutely LOVES the water. Put a life-jacket on her and she will just float wherever it takes her.

Not at all! YOu did great, Melina! It's hard to keep it under wraps when the kits have arrived, but yes, it does make more sense now that I see it IRL, lol! You were so on the ball - thank you! This will be our first challenge of the new year - SOoooooooooooo exciting!!!!!!!!!!

I reread the information that I sent, and in the first line I typed the following:
Challenge" Select three images or sentiment on the face of the card, I should have written, you must select three images out of the ones that I sent and place them on the front of the card.
Sorry, if it caused any confusion.
Joan

Thumbs up

That is the "plan" anyways. I'm hoping I can go but not positive it'll happen as we'll be heading back to Miami to see Jasmine graduate with her Bachelor's in May. I'm taking the boys this time and she wants us to stay for at least a week so she can show the boys around and we can take them to DisneyWorld (uugghh!!) while we're there. If not in April, I will make it to Japan sometime in the next 3 years before he leaves... lol When I was talking to him night before last he offered to buy me a ticket to London because it was only $430 (as opposed to $1600 to Sasebo, Japan)... I told him why do I want to go to England, I don't know anyone there?! So he says "why not, you speak English don't you?!" hahaha...
7423 miles away and he STILL cracks me up!

Off to play with my new stuff from my SU order. Have a nice night all!!

Hi Judy-

I have a Happy Anniversary stamp from Stamin' UP! If could stamp some off for you in black Memento and send them to you for the interim if you would like. Really, no big deal....if you are interested just let me know.

Hi Tami, Jamie, and anyone else I have missed today - was not intentional.

Trying to get the tree to basement storage and work on a few swaps. Would love to get a couple blog posts set up in advance for a change! One of those NY resolutions I seem to never follow through on!

Happy Sunday Evening--we had a great day. We had 16 people here for dinner as it was a smaller group than in the past. Some were sick, some had other plans and some had to work, so we were about half the size of previous years. But, with a smaller group, we had more time to chat it seemed. Everyone left about an hour ago and I have the dishwasher going, and everything is cleaned up.

Tomorrrow I will start the process of taking down the Christmas decorations. It should take a day or so and as usual, it is good to have the house back to normal. I do leave out the snowman and "snowy" things for a month or so, but with temps in the 30's today and back to 50 by Tuesday, it will be the only sign of winter for awhile. I do know that the snow and cold will be here--but I do not want it to stay around until April!

My trees are down and in storage.......I'm going to have the store the ornaments up here until i can get my BIL over here to help me haul out a computer stand taking up space in my storage unit in the basement.

Just got some sad news from my mom, an aunt of mine passed away on Jan 5th. We were not really close, as her and my uncle and their families live up in MN, but still family. The funeral is in MN

So sorry LJ!

My tree is also down and everything back in it's place. I also cleaned up my room (I need a good name for it, any suggestions?) a little bit. I had stuff strung all over the place in here. It was terrible. Looks better, although not completely organized.

I am trying to talk my Mom into going with us to Miami to Jazzy's graduation in May but she won't make up her mind. ((eye roll)) She's retired, what else does she have to do?! lol

Names for your room:

CCC or three C's--Cricket's Crafty Cave

The Cave (I think that is mine as it is in the lower level with no windows)

Jamie's Zone

Ideas for Jamie...

because crickets live in damp dark places like caves, basements, crevices... you could name your room "Cave"

because a group/family of crickets is called an "orchestra"... you could call your room "The Pit" (as in an orchestra pit)

Evening! Just put finisning touches on my Riley card (for the upcoming challenge!) and it kicked my butt today -- I could not make it work, lol, but finally made heads and tails out of it ... or him? LOL!!!

I also got my new glasses today after church - me no likey!! I am having a hard time seeing! But it's been a good 2 years since I"ve had glasses - I'm in contacts 24/7 which is NOT good for the eyes and finally got around to getting my eyes rechecked. They are worse by .25 .... not too too bad, but still on the "getting worse" end - eek! I guess they will get getting used to like all things

And woohoo for new crafting room names, flights, good friends, family and fun times!!!!!!! x0x0x0

I've been out all day at the Leisure Way Remote Car racing Competion. My son picked me up at 8:00 a.m. and I came home an hour ago, a long, long day at the Races with my Grandson. Of course, I had planned to stay at home and watch football all day.

Good Morning--checking in with my SCS pals and then I am tackling the Christmas decorations (don't worry--I will be gentle and not break any). I'd love to get everything packed away today and then roomie can help me put the boxes in the rafters in the garage when she gets home from work.

I hope you have a great day--temps to be in the 50's tommorrow and Wednesday--YAY!

I got one like this in a swap and it is sitting in my craft room as I love to look at it.

Thumbs up

Thank you for all the names for my room! I have written them all down and I will let the kids vote on them tonight... especially Pee Wee who said the room needed a name anyway.

It's a little chilly this morning. I have been in bed under the covers watching tv til now.

Hope everyone has a great Monday!

I thought I would share this....................

Cordova, Alaska has had over 15 feet of snow this winter--51 inches of snow so far this January. There is where we visited this summer as roomies niece lives here. She has posted some links on FB the past few days as they just got socked this past week and it rained over the weekend to make matters much worse!

Here is one of the links on youtube--an interview with the mayor and lots of pictures and videos. Simply Amazing....................
