I'm so exhausted.......
Work (full day), then Boston Store to return a purse I bought recently, it started to tear where the shoulder strap was attached to the body of the purse. Couldn't find the receipt. I bought it 2 months ago, used it twice. Gotta say I am impressed with them. They didn't have any left in the store, so they gave me a merchandise credit for what ended up being twice of what I paid for it ($117). They just found one comparable to it in size and design and ran it through. Big Kudos.
Then went to Target, got some stuff there (mostly storage) for an IKEA media stand i got last summer and then to the grocery store. I needed to do major grocery shopping. Came home with 3 bags full.
I'll be so happy when the weekend is here. Work is BUSY right now, and that's with my manager on vacation. So far my only weekend plans are babysitting Tavi on Friday night.
Hi Darlings! Been absent for a few days as we've been busy going here and there. Currently in Everett, WA, my hometown, staying with one of my sisters for a few days. Been watching lots of Olympic events. LJ, that's terrific customer service on the defective purse. Whoohoo!! Looking forward to seeing the August kit when I get back to my SIL's. Hoping everyone is well and off to a great August start. HUGS!

Good Morning! Today is the first day of the Wisconsin State Fair and they are famous for cream puffs--they sell almost 400,000 every year. So, here is your graphic for today:
Barb, those cream puffs sound delish! Would you send me one? I'm so looking forward to "Doing the Puyallup" otherwise known as Western WA State Fair. This is the first time in years we'll be in WA in September when the fair is on. As Wisconsin State Fair is known for their cream puffs, the Puyallup is known for their scones with berry jam.

Way to go LJ.
I am headed to a SU stamping event on Saturday--it is called Stamp-in-Oga. It runs Friday night through Sunday afternoon, and I am going at 8:00 Saturday morning and hope to last until 11 or midnight. It is only 10 miles away, so I can hopefully stay late. There is also a rummage sale in the morning and we make 5 cards. There are also three breakout classes in the afternoon and I am taking two of them. I have 5 sets of swap cards all ready cut out and packaged up--ready to make. I think it should be fun................................... Now, I hope to find a good deal at the rummage like LJ did!

Sounds like fun! and YES I hope you get a deal like mine
Now I need to use it on some swaps that are due soon! LOL!
Just wanted to let you know that I received my adorable kit today, thank you! My postage was not canceled, but are the stamps reusable? They look like they were printed on Stamps.com or by USPS.

Jeanette--can you imagine us spending 14-16 hours together! They do this twice or three times a year. Last one was in May and I think there is one in the winter too. I will let you know when the next one is.
It's a beautiful sunny day here in the PNW! Yay!! Temps are forecast to be near 90 for Saturday and Sunday! YOW!! Big change for us here. Also great weather for watching the Seafair hydroplane races on Lake Washington and watching the Blue Angels perform over the race course.
Did anyone watch the Olympic women's gymnastics all around last night? So thrilled for Gabby Douglas winning gold! When they interviewed her her comment was "The glory belongs to God. The glory goes up to Him and the blessings come down to me!" Awesome witness by this young girl!
Barb, sounds like you are off to a fun Saturday! Hope you snag some good deals!!
What? Barb and Jeanette together at a stamping event??? Batten down the hatches!!
They wouldn't know what to do with us together for that long, Barb. LOL!
Welcome Back Jeanette!!!!!!!
How was DD?
I just LOVE the kit this month!!! Wherever you and Barb are going, count me in also...April, we'll connect and you can ride with me!! Especially if it involves stamping! Wooo Hooo!

Heeeeeeeeeey don't forget the gal down South! I'm know I'm far, I can meet you at April she leaves
Glad the kits are arriving! I think it should be fun, too
Tami, I am not sure about your stamps - they were printed at the register by the USPS guy since they were out of books of forever stamps and he gave me 20 of those instead .. I'm going to assume they are reusable but maybe don't mail out any bills with them just in case

Checking in from Stamp Camp in Oga--it has been fun so far. We made 5 cards this morning in class and the rest of the day is open stamping. The demos have tons of supplies for us to use--a couple of Big Shots along with many things to use in them, many, many stamps, all punches and inks It should be a fun afternoon to work on swaps.
So--the next weekends for this is November 2-3-4 and February 1-2-3--let's have a Dueling Darling Camping Weekend!
Hi everyone! I am home from a relaxing vacation up north! Spent the week with my sister, BIL, 2 nephews, a niece, some friends of said nephews and niece, my mom and dad, and Steve of course! It was wonderful!!
Jeanette.....my kit was waiting in my mailbox when I got home today! Thank you for the additional "stuff".

Hello--Happy Sunday! I had a great day yesterday and completed 3 sets of swap cards and a fourth is about 3/4 done. All of the demos were so nice and it was wonderful to be able to use all of their supplies they bought--there were long tables on two walls in the conference room full of SU items. I will for sure attend again.
A sad time right now as I am watching the breaking news about a shooting at a temple in Oak Creek--just south of Milwaukee, about a half hour from me. How Tragic!

Holy cow Barb! I haven't had the tv or radio on all day.....I have been running around, grocery store, laundry and catch-up stuff from not being home all week. The temple is only 10 minutes from me......and the newest report is that 7 are dead. How terrible and way to close to home!
Where does the time go? I'm racing around all the time it seems. I wish I had more time to check in here! I miss our chatting!
This Summer has been jammed packed. Our kids have had a fun break though
