I've been driving around with my package of cards for over a week, and just noticed yesterday when I cleaned out my car that I never made it to the post office. Tracy, I'm so sorry. The cards (I did three spots instead of two) are really postal to you as of yesterday. And I did stamp them on the back with the OWH stamp, so at least you don't have to do that.

Thanks to all of you,
thank you. I was trying to make them simple.

Lois,

No worries! Since there is no actual swapping going on with this swap, the deadline isn't quite as crucial as it would be in a regular swap. I look forward to getting your cards and will let you know when they get here.

I've been saving addresses from your packages as they've arrived, so I should have everyone's name and address. I need the full name of whoever has the last name Gardner. You didn't put your first name on the package and I didn't see your name inside.

Thanks again everyone. Watch for a little thank you in your mail boxes next week!

Thanks, Monica!

Lois, Your card arrived today. Thank you, they're fantastic!

Ladies,

I'm afraid my stomach is acting up again. I will probably be off line for a few days. Please feel free to post if you have any questions and I'll try to get back to you in a few days.

Thanks again for all you've done to make this swap such a great success. I'll let you know the final count for cards soon.

Thanks!

Marie,

I'm glad you enjoyed the swap, I did too! I just want to thank each and every one of you for using your talent to help our service members overseas...the cards you made are absolutely fantastic and I know they will be touched by your talent and kindness.

We're just about wrapped up. I'm going to count cards tomorrow and I'll let you know how many we're going to be sending to OWH>

THANK YOU ALL!!!!!

I finally finished your thank you's and will have them in the mail Monday. I'm going to count cards a bit later today, and then I'll have the moderators delete this thread.

Just wanted to take one more chance to say THANK YOU to everyone!
Have a great weekend,
Tracy

Just wanted to let you know, I had to repackage your thank-you's. They were a bit too thick to send and would have jumped from 47 cents to $2.10 a piece if I'd left them the way I originally had them. If you don't receive something from me in the coming week, please send me your address so I can get your thank-you prize out to you.

Thanks,

Tracy, I received my thank you gift today. Thank you, I love it! It really wasn't necessary. I enjoyed making the cards.

Tracy, Ditto what Monica said! It was very sweet of you. Hope you enjoyed hosting your first swap as much as I did participating in it.

I'm glad you liked it! I had really hoped to make flowers for everyone. I bought this great die in the Quilling section at A.C. Moore, but my hands just haven't been up to the challenge. Since I have 12 photo boxes full of ribbon and five Ribbon Rings that are packed with my more unusual ribbons hanging by my desk, I figured it was a good alternative.

Enjoy them, you all deserve them. And please, let me know if I missed you. It wasn't intentional!

Thumbs up Thanks for All You Do for Our Troops

Tracy

I "ditto" what Monicas says too. I finally checked my mailbox this afternoon and found your envelope with the card and ribbons! Really cool! I love the ribbons - especially.... I guess they're all my favorites!

Was that pink polka dot washi tape you used to hold the envelope closed? I laughed when I turned over the envelope and saw it.

Thanks for collecting all these cards for our troops. I send cards with Soldiers Angels - there are just so many wonderful organizations.

Sandra

I did use washi tape. I used a couple of different colors. I usually don't buy the kind of envelopes you have to lick because my mouth is always dry from my Sjogren's Syndrome. So, when I do have to lick them, I'm never sure if they're moist enough to stay closed, thus, the washi tape. It looked nicer than plain old transparent tape.

I'm glad it gave you a smile,
