here are some pictures of the kits I got this last round...it's not all of them. as you can see they all have 4-6 sheets of paper (some are double sided), matching ribbon and an assortment of embellishements.
Its after midnight. Still at hospital and I can't sleep. Not sure if I can spell either.
Please keep my brother in law in your prayers. He had two stints put in back in december and they came undone, was bleeding internally. The stints took out the whole artery and he had many blod clots in his heart. They did bypass surgery and managed to get all that fixed. He's still sedated and on a breathingmachine. We got to see him like that and he looked dead, very scary stuff. They are not sure how much damage was done. Won't know till he wakes up fully. They were going to try to start waking him up about now. So a little nervous about that...its been a crazy day. Never prepared myself for johnny to be in this situation...always expected my husband to be laying there before. Him. Anyways sorry for. The rambling...
Happy day everyone. Keep my family in your prayers.
Yes Kristyn, I am improving with both the cellulitis and blood clot. It will be two to three months for the clot to heal, my leg aches at times but it hasn't slowed me down a whole lot.
I am okay with having to cancel a trip I had my heart set on but it's fine. Life is not always fair but it is good. I could have been in the air and developed the clot so I am thankful it happened three days before leaving. Hey, more time for playing.........
Tina,,,thinking of your family....hoping for great results.
Pat--glad you are doing well. DH had a blood clot happen over 25 years ago...It scared me spitless as I was pg with our third child-first son at the time. So do what the docs say to do and be careful....
c-mouse-If you can't say nuttin nice--don't say nuttin at all. Thumper.

Just checking in from sunny Bahamas. Our first week has ended, and we have had such a beautiful time. I have managed to make almost fifty cards already in the wee hours of the morn when the rest of the world sleeps. I have also spent several hours at the local school teaching them how to make an Easter card I created. Only 167 students at the school and so far I have managed to work with 64 of the students. When all is said and done all 167 children from grade one to six will have made an Easter card for there mom or dad or both. I love my life, the fact that I am in the position to travel, to share my talents and to provide for the students just makes me feel so good. Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone. I will check in again sometime in the next week.
MommaPatti, Your Kit came today and I am sooooooo...happy. It is callling my name to get started already! The paper is beautiful, the ribbons too, the bling is perfect for the papers and those mice stamps have found the right home. You are so generous and have put a wonderful kit together. Thank you so much.
Kristyn is doing ok. Her BIL just came home from the hospital yesterday. She's back to work at both jobs again and today is feeling exhausted - physically and mentally. It's been quite a week for her! Tomorrow will have to be a better day, right? I hope so, since it's her birthday.
we are officially full for this round. Didn't take as long as I thought...but that gives everyone plenty of time to get ahead of the game and get thier kits done. I will sent out PM in the next week or two to everyone.
Location: 'Miles away from ordinary' on a beach with a Corona!!
HEllo! Hello! I am still here and sorry for being MIA - but I have no computer at the momeny - it crashed and is being worked on!!! Just hoping that I haven't lost EVERYTHING?!!?!?!?!? And I don't have access to another right now . . . .so I stopped by a friend's house on the way to work to just let everyone know that I ma still here and haven't forgotten any of you!!
Depending on my work schedule - I am going to try and stop by another friend's and borrow their laptop to try and catch up on stuff!!!
Today I'm going to have a follow-up mamo on my left side. I'm scared as I went through this back in 2004. I have been cancer free for almost 3 years. Hoping that I'm making mountain out of a molehill.
