Thanks to angels we are full once again and putting finishing touches on the final cards. I'll let you know when I'm able to swap.
My mother use to tell me that February was the shortest month because it was the dreariest. She may have been right. So I say we celebrate the end of February and the hope of Spring with sets of Rainbow cards. Some of you already know how this works – I’ve held a couple of these and they have always produced some amazing results.
Choose a color in one of the Rainbows listed in Message #2. Make 8 cards with that color as the dominant feature. It does not have to be the only color, but it should be obvious in looking at the card what the color selection is. Mail all 8 cards to me. Your return envelope will include one card in each color, including one of your own. Yes, you will get one of your own cards back.
Description requirement: Full Size Card - 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 It could be a regular full size card, Fancy folds, pop ups any style card are always welcome.
Quantity: 8 No need for a “plus one” – I will be participating in the swap. I’ll take the last color selected in each Rainbow.
Vendor products: No vendor restriction, but please use only good quality card stock. Please use at least 2 layers & at least one embellishments.
Due: February 29, 2012. I will swap them out within the week and get them sent right back out
Mailing instructions:
Packaging: Put your cards in a zip lock bag with the swap name, your real name, and your SCS name. Please send a stamped envelope (with the same postage as it took to send to me) plus two extra stamps just in case needed. Thanks!
DO NOT send metered postage as we all know they only work for day of purchase!! If you would rather use Priority mail, please include one $4.95 priority stamp and a self-addressed priority label. I will provide priority envelope. If you are mailing from Canada please include $4 US to cover return postage, and I will return whatever is left to you.

Oh, and your mom must have lived in NE Ohio....although if that was the case then she would have said that Dec-Feb is dreary....the older I get the more I understand why there is the annual caravan to Florida from Ohio in November.

Grew up in Pittsburgh, so close enough for the weather to be the same. LOL I moved below the Mason-Dixon line years ago and never minded leaving that snow and slush behind. In Maryland the snow comes but it leaves the next day.
Welcome, Leona! I spread your slots over three groups so that you won't receive any duplicate cards. I'm sure the groups will be filled. If not, I have some angels in the wings (so to speak).
No specific theme! Just the color and your own creativity. Enjoy!
Head's up, Terrie. My yellow for group 2 is mailing tomorrow. I had so much fun putting these ones together since it isn't usually my colour of choice.
These did not get to the post office as I had hoped. I am trying to juggle my schedule and arrange to get them out very soon. Sorry for the confusion!
