Monthly Card Swap
Hello Friends and Welcome to our little monthly card swap! We have all had a lot of fun together in past swaps and started to form some great friendships (and some new ones too). And what better way to continue cultivating those friendships and shared brilliance, than to have an everlasting swap. No worries, the commitment isn’t that long. LOL. Actually, the commitment is for however long you choose, but I’ll get into the rules below. In the meantime I just want to say thanks for joining me once again. I have been so blessed in getting to meet and share creations with each and every one of you…now let the swapping begin!!

~This Month's theme hosted by momcgw~ Hi All! For the April theme I have decided that I would like everyone to make child birthday cards. My granddaughter is 7 and I know she has been invited to several birthday parties. She loves homemade cards and I don't seem to have enough little person birthday cards. No special requirements for this month; your cards can be for either boy or girl--just have fun with them! Please have your cards in the mail to Carol by April 30.
~Next Month's theme hosted by Aprilo~ This month's theme is Monochromatic May! Your card can be for any occasion, but it should be all one color family! I tend to have a problem making cards like this, so I would love some inspiration from my Sistahs! Please have your cards in the mail to April by May 31st.
FaithBook Scrapbook Club
The SOTC is going beyond the monthly card making swaps and in addition, we will all rotate hosting a 1-2 page scrapbook layout with no restrictions ~ feel free to keep your pages CAS or over the top! It's entirely up to you. Your hostess of the month will provide the faithbookers a monthly scripture to work with or around, or a chosen theme/color/scheme. Your pages should be uploaded to the SCS gallery on the 15th (unless otherwise noted--flexible!!) You aren't required to send anything out to the other scrappers and you can chose from whatever vendors you like the best .
Thank you ladies for joinin' in on this venture! Join us whenever you can or want to!

Yesterday was KitCat Sunday and it was my turn to hostess... Poor Kittens, I sent them a mish-mash, "kitchen sink" of a kit, but they totally rocked it out with some amazing creations!! If you start here at my blog, there are links to the other Kittens' blogs there. You won't be disappointed!
I've decided I'm spending my lunch hour visiting everyone's blogs today. I need some mojo inspiration and where better to get it than from all of you creative Sistahs!

Michelle, I have made an attempt at a blog as well...upon directions from Lildj and Sweet P....it is a work in progress...and I did stop and check out the blogs for the KitKats...and they were amazing...have to go check Susan's as she didn't have hers posted when I last checked..

good morning everyone. Just a little over 6 weeks until Christmas. I've been working on my secret santa package and it is so hard to hold back. There are just so many things I want to put in it.
Oh girls, I'm just beat! I was at the school all morning and think I might be coming down with some of their germies, lol! I had a meeting til late last night for dd15, a bike parade for veterans tomorrow at the same time as dd's Honor Roll, omgosh .... pizza with friends tonight but this might be a go ahead and have a slice w/out me night! I hate to miss our GNO, but my throat is sore, my head is pounding, and I think sitting at the camp in 50 below weather might have done me in, lol!!
I'm a really proud mama, today -- if you all could stop by my blog? My Chrissy made the cutest card and I just had to post it - we craft together alot and this one was too cute not to post! I promised her I would put it on my blog - so many of her cards beat mine out every time - she's too funny!

THanks, girls! She was so tickled, she read the sweet words just now as we haven't had two seconds free - she thanks you all. I'm truly blessed to have little girls that love to do things with mama! Cooking is still our favorite (you should see the snowman cupcakes dd15 just cranked out - gahhhhhh!) but crafting ranks pretty high, too
Now I have to learn from lil dj how to stop freaking about the impending driving ahead, lol!

Hello everyone!
I found you!!! Just wanted to check in and see if everyone is doing okay. I thought I'd let you know that I asked our Kadie for a pass for this month and next. I've got so much going on with getting ready for baby Max, to arrive soon, and then the holidays closing in so fast, that I know I'll be doing good to keep my head above water, and I want so very much to focus on family, having everyone together, and celebrating the true meaning of the joy of this blessed season to come. Of course, I'll be checking in with the sisterhood as often as I can, because I just can't go very long without a sisterhood fix!
I went with DDIL to the doctor yesterday. She's doing well, but starting to feel the discomfort that the final stages of pregnancy brings. She got a good report, and we toured the new facilities at the hospital yesterday afternoon. From there we did a little shopping, and I just HAD to buy Max the most adorable little Elmer Fudd winter hat, complete with a set of fuzzy ears on it. It's sooooo cute!!! I'm having fun doing this whole gramma thing, and I spoiled the mom-to-be a little, too. She picked out some pretty PJ's to wear in the hospital, because she's not so cracked up on those gorgeous hospital gowns, and I don't blame her one bit!!!
OH Lorie, it's down to the home stretch! How wonderous it will be when lil Max is here, probably sooner than we can blink - keep us posted, each step of the way, we'll be cheering the new mama on!
