Good afternoon/evening. Went to the doc today. I have a bladder infection. My poor body is getting hit with one thing after another. On another antibiotic. Really having a tough time with this and company is about to arrive for dinner.
Look after yourself Judy!! ...and ....I know -from SOTC thread- that your dinner was absolutley awesome!!......I had no doubt about that!♥

Hosted my SIL Raylene and friend Janice today. They arrived in time for lunch. I had prepared area for card making but we never got around to actually making cards. They were too busy checking out all my stuff. And then I had to demonstrate how SCS works, just a mini-tutorial. Then the guys showed up and our little party broke up long before I was ready. We're meeting them at a local restuarant in about an hour for dinner.

wowzerr.....busyyy week end and finally time to relaxxx after
a nice BDay celebration for a sweet 5 y. old yesterday...she loved her cake..yeahhh...
Nothing like seeing a bright big smile as a reward!
The late afternoon was followed by a visit to my Dad -which ended up very worrysome after
taking him to a Starbuck outing...felt sick to my stomach afterward
but ,luckily, all his vital were ok after we returned him to his Centre,
and today he's doing just great again...
Had a surprise visit too last night and today had a luncheon
date w/ some girlfriends (sushi time...yeahhh!) plus the gals
came over for espresso and some leftover cake too ...
Finally took sometime to make a lil Easter container for the YCDI
weekly challenge, made out of empty toilet paper rolls, and now
enjoying a quiet time w/ hubby watching 'The Bible' new tv serie
while the wash machine is doing its churning job.....
Week end went wayyyy too fastttt!! How was YOURS?? ♥

and tomorrow night I need to attend our school's Spring Concert w/ my autistic student...
I was asked to be present as my been there has a calming effect on her...so they say...)
I will make arrangement for tomorrow night's game if I can't be here...no worries..game is still on regardless!! )
OMGOSH Sweet P! What a cake!!!!!!!! You are a master!! That is SUPER! I want one! Can you have one sent down in a couple weekS!??!! I just copied it/sent it to my daughter (The baker, lol) and she said SUPER COOL!! I showed her one earlier - did you see it on pinterest - with the rainbow balls? OMG!!! I hope to have that one, too - lol -- I'll see if I can find the pic (It's on my iPad) YOu sure made the event a wonderful one! What a fabby Nana you are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

'Splain yo-self, lol!! Did you have a certain pan? We tried it -not with rainbow balls -just with chocolate/white just to experiment but she used a cupcake tin - just overfilled them, let it rise to an almost 'ball' shape. It was HORRID. In the sample (let me go get the ipad and email it to myself) I think they used a half circle pan ....... BRB!
I have a baby cake maker......you make colored balls, undercook them and then pour some white batter, plop ball and cover with more cake batter.
I need to run to bus with EK, be back though!

I feel today is a brand new start for me! I woke up feeling great for the first time in a long, long time!! DH and I hit the walking trail. Felt sooooo good!! On top of that the weather is just about perfect today! Blue skies, sunshine, no wind and temps in the mid- 70s!
All those cakes are fantastic!
I have to remember to be here earlier tomorrow now that everyone except us is on daylight savings time. AZ stays on standard time so now we are the same time as the Pacific coast.

I was very tempted to buy a cake pop maker...then my good sense prevailed...where would I put another baking thing?? AND how many time would I truly use it?? HAND made and rolled cake pops are easy to make...;o)

'Evening everyone....
too long a day for my liking and everything that could go wrong did!
Including an emerg staff mtg at lunch time regarding a bomb threat note found around the main lockers area!!!!! yup...not a peachy kind of day...plus a mtg after work too....it truly stretched my day....came home unbelievably exausted -mentally- and dog tired.....only to find that hubby prepared my favorite kind of yummiliscious soup and a wonderful incredible pkg waiting for my eager fingers to open...THAT made my day...and then some!! ♥
BTW: I won't be able to pop in tomorrow, but game night is still very much on... Dea will be your gracious hostess for the evening....I am sure you will enjoy your times together! ♥ Thank you Dea! ♥
Ok gals...I am outta here... tomorrow will be another longggg dayyy...Spring Concert night and I was asked to attend to support one of the girls I work with, which is autistic....apparently my presence has a calming effect on her...*wink*
One of my GSons will also perform tomorrow night and I am excited about that too!♥

What does your Autistic girl do? I once got a clock from an ED (Emotionally Disturbed) student I worked with - she had made the clock in a class & was selling it. And I remember being supportive of Autistic students...

We had one student in a classroom that sold "snacks" to faculty / students who would count up the money (change & bills), add them up - did VERY well (we had a lot of money each day). He is one of the Special Olympic athletes with bowling in our Area. Most people would never know he was Autistic.
And I bet you're having allergy problems! My allergies are acting up!!
