CARDS MAILED OCTOBER 4-8. Open with Prizes - Christmas is Coming - Due September 10
Christmas—who does not love Christmas
The joy of giving is the best time of year!
Here is a swap for my friendly stampers to join---
CHRISTMAS IS COMING SWAP!
The huge wedding will be over and I will have lots of time to make Christmas cards since I am now so far behind on my Christmas challenges. Usually have 100 cards made by now. Oh well July and August will be a good time to do.
Let's get ready for the Christmas season early and all of the celebrations we have or things that we do during the Christmas season. The theme can be Christmas of any type, Christms flowers, Giving, The Birth, Caroling, Baking and candymaking, Snow and winter in general. etc—you get the idea. Any Christmas themed card will work! Sign up for as many spots as you'd like, but please, make a different design for each spot you take.
Descriptions: Full Size Cards (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) Please use at least 2 layers and 1 embellishment on each card. If you want to make a different size card than A2, please include a matching envie.
Quantity: 5+1 -You will not get one of your own back, so make an extra one for yourself!
Vendor Products: No vendor requirements--Any stamps from any company, but PLEASE use very good quality cardstock (preferably SU/Bazzill/PTI), No vendor restriction on embellishments - use as many embellishments as you like. Designer papers are encouraged, but not required.
Due Date: September 10 - I will mail them as soon as I receive all swaps! If I receive the swaps early, I will send them out early. If your cards are received after the due date, I may have to return them to you.
Mailing instructions: Place swap cards in a large baggie for waterproof purposes. Write your real name, SCS name and swap name on a piece of paper or the baggie for identification purposes.
Swap Return: Please include self-addressed stamped envelope. The amount of postage on your SASE should be the same amount used to mail to hostess. Please include 2 additional stamps to insure enough postage to return swaps. Additional postage will be returned if not used. PLEASE SEND ONLY POSTAGE STAMPS, NO DATED STAMPS OR METERED MAIL--My Post Office will not take them If you would rather use Priority Mail, please include an address label and a priority stamp--I will provide the mailer. If you are mailing from Canada please include $5 US to cover return postage, and I will return whatever is left to you.
Please post or PM me with any questions or when ready to mail.

Thanks Suzanne and Libby. I have been out of town for 3 days to a scrapbook retreat. Actually got 20 pages completed, that's 20 more than the last 2 years I think. Also made 16 cards from the OSW. Had such a great time. Then yesterday I was home with the flu. Headed off to work this am. Out of town again this weekend to see my parents in Montana.
Customer: 'I've been calling 700-1200 for two days and can't get through; can you help?'
Operator: 'Where did you get that number, sir?'
Customer: 'It's on the door of your business.'
Operator: 'Sir, those are the hours that we are open.'

Samsung Electronics
Caller: 'Can you give me the telephone number for Jack?'
Operator: 'I'm sorry, sir, I don't understand who you are talking about.'
Caller: 'On page 1, section 5, of the user guide it clearly states that I
need to unplug the fax machine from the AC wall socket and
telephone Jack before cleaning. Now, can you give me the
number for Jack?'
Operator: 'I think it means the telephone plug on the wall.'

RAC Motoring Services
Caller: 'Does your European Breakdown Policy cover me when I am
traveling in Australia ?'
Operator: 'Does the product name give you a clue?'
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Directory Inquiries
Caller: 'I'd like the number of the Argo Fish Bar, please'
Operator: 'I'm sorry, there's no listing. Are you sure that the spelling is correct?'
Caller: 'Well, it used to be called the Bargo Fish Bar but the 'B' fell off the sign.'
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Caller: 'Can you find me the company named "Woven"?
Operator: 'Woven? Are you sure?'
Caller: 'Yes. That's what it says on the label -- Woven in Scotland .'
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On another occasion, a man making heavy breathing sounds from
a phone box told a worried operator:
'I haven't got a pen, so I'm steaming up the window to write the number on.'
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tech Support: 'I need you to right-click on the Open Desktop.'
Customer: 'OK.'
Tech Support: 'Did you get a pop-up menu?'
Customer: 'No.'
Tech Support: 'OK. Right-Click again. Do you see a pop-up menu?'
Customer: 'No.'
Tech Support: 'OK, sir. Can you tell me what you have done up until this point?'
Customer: 'Sure. You told me to write 'click' and I wrote 'click'.'
Stampmontana you made me laugh. This past week at work has been awful, 9 of the employees got let go due to budget cuts. I an just sick about it as several have become very close friends.
I'm sorry to hear about the situation where you work. This is very hard news to hear in this economy. A lot of times the people we work with are almost like family and we do feel the stress they are going through.
Hi, thank-you for hostessing this. I need lots of cards too! I have to supply 2 dd's and their friends. The love the home made cards and the fact that women from all over the U.S. made them. They are very special! I'll take 2 spots please! Hugs, cheryl
