I got up around 9:30 am this morning, had breakfast, took a shower, got dressed and decided to run some errands.
Guess what?? The bank was closed, the library was closed and a business I wanted to stop at was closed....then I figured out it was Tuesday, New Years day!
I went home terribly embarrassed. Good thing nobody noticed.
both of my sets are a go for the swap, I thought I would not have enough however I did.
I am asking for my swapped card to all be donated to RMH nothing sent back to me.
Mailed out today.
Some cute cards came today but i couldn't read who they were from (Santa Cruz). There were some polkadoted 3x3 cards along with some A2. So, Thank you!!!!!
Looks like more happy mail is on the way!
Heather...hope you feel better soon! Don't stress to much about the cards...just feel better. Thanks ahead for the donation.

I am hoping its from me? (in Santa Clara) I used a white label on the top left corner to cover up my company's logo
OK, I got to the post office as promised and mailed the cards to you this morning. Forgot to get a delivery confirmation. I seriously doubt they'll get lost. I think you can safely expect to see them before January 10th!
Jen, I am really sorry, I could not get to post office this past week. I will get them in Mail on Monday priority mail, but it might get delayed by a day. I am really so sorry. They are all packed and ready
Ladies please don't stress about the due date drawing near. Most of you generous folks have donated all your cards. So, there is not that pressure to return swaps=). I won't be making it to RMDH in Hershey for a few weeks. So, there is still time.
Thank you all again!
I thought that I had mailed the cards in plenty of time. But I just checked and it hasn't left the Kansas City, Mo post office yet. Hoping that it will get there in time.

Just got home...
Hi Jen,
I just wanted to let you know that I just got home, and haven't had a chance to mail out cards to you yet. I did see that all cards are being donated, though, so there isn't a rush.
I'm sending more than 12 cards- but I was wondering if you needed any card sleeves or envelopes??? I can't remember if you ever got any from me. My cost is $2/100 of either. I'm placing an order for more card sleeves, because I only have about 200 left, and I need to send some to a couple of other people. I do paypal to make it easy. Let me know, and I can send you an invoice. It really makes the cards hold up better when you send them to the house in the sleeve. That way, the embellishments don't get torn or bent, and the cards stay nice and clean for the RMDH kids, especially ones on chemo or steroids.

Jen,
My cards went out Priority mail yesterday from Nanticoke, PA. If you don"t have them today, you'll have them tomorrow. They're all to be donated and they're in sleeves with envelopes.
Oh, my stars! Look at all the cards going to RMH. Way to go, Jen!
I had fun with the swap it was the first time in a long time I have been in one and it felt good

Hi Sally,
I really don't have anything to add to your post, I just wanted to let you know how much I love your picture! Your kitty reminds me of my Neko, a 9 yo male I raised with a bottle from about 4 weeks until he passed away in October. He was a great cat and looked almost exactly like your picture. The picture I use isn't really him, it's a stock photo that came with my computer. But it looked so much like Neko that I've used it for everything for years. I still have five cats and don't know how I'd get through the day without them.
Your picture really made me smile, thanks,
Tracy (known to family members as the crazy cat lady!)
Just wanted to share today's weather broadcast with everyone...
Albany, Oregon, January 12, 2013.
"Think Spring"....you can say that again!
I went out this afternoon, at approximately noon it was 36 degrees. On my way home from my afternoon crafting get-together at 4:30 pm it was 32 degrees! You should have seen the beautiful frost / ice crystals on the trees & grass & weeds at noon. Lovely.
Here's the frost at my house: lavender, Birch tree, dandelion.
With all of my swaps that I mailed out I usually get a DC to make that the swap got there okay and to see what route that it has taken. Well, this swap is taking its time to get to your house. It had left my post office on the 3rd, then it went to the state of Kansas, Iowa and left Cincinnati, Ohio yesterday. I'm really so glad that I had donating all of my cards. My DC is 0312 0860 0000 5320 1795. So sorry for the delay.

Jen, I am glad the cards made there in time. I am really sorry I also forgot to include Envies. Just mailed it out like I would for a regular swap. Can I send you some envelopes?

Good grief! Your cards took the scenic route! Or maybe the cross country by snowshoe method.
Thought I'd drop by to see if anyone posted pictures of their cards.
I think I may still remember how to add pictures to a posting...too bad I mailed off my cards a couple weeks ago.
Thank you for the link to the envelopes!! I really appreciate it. I also love your blog. It had me smiling at all the beautiful cards and laughing at all your funny ways of expressing your frustration. I like the idea for a word for the year. Balance would be a good one for me too. Have you tried Yoga? If you have trouble with balance you can do Chair Yoga. There are videos on youtube. I thought it might be kind of silly but it was really a good workout and I only did 10 minutes. Just FYI.
Sally...no worries! Hopefully they will be here soon. I'm still expecting a few more from this swap. Right now I'm getting them sorted and ready to go.
