My cards will have to wait to go out til right after Christmas. Half are done and the other half are halfway done (does that make sense?), but I've gotten so far behind on sewing projects for Christmas presents - which is why I'm sitting on the computer tonight, right? - that I'll be sewing up until we leave for my SIL's for Christmas Eve Dinner!
i spent my day baking 5 batches of cookies. scott's little holiday party is tomorrow so i wanted him to be able to take a cookie plate. tomorrow i am sitting on my butt. >"<
That was all they posted. It is a special PO box so I'm sure there's no need to put anything before that but you could put Sandy Hook Families or something I suppose.
I recieved some awesome cards from Chris...Thank you my friend! Also,a bunch of great cards from someone named Jennifer...but your SCS name wasn't on anything so I'm not sure who you are but THANK YOU!

If you haven't guessed by the swap title this swap is for charity. I'm in the process of making and collecting cards for the Ronald McDonald House....and I thought you talented folks could help me out!
All the +1 cards will go to my local Ronald McDonald House (Hershey, PA).

I didn't know there was a Ronald McDonald House in Hershey. When I lived in Columbia, MD many years ago I would go to Hershey around Thanksgiving time for their annual Volksmarch. Man, that was a lot of fun! I now live in Oregon, so obviously I don't drive right over!
Does the RMH take cards with glitter???
Can I just send you some cards WITHOUT getting any back? I don't want to swap, I just was thinking about donating some.
I am really sorry about this, but some things recently came up that i was not expecting. I will have to drop out of this swap. Can I still send you a few cards to donate after this due date? I love the spirit of this swap but I am not sure that I can get cards to you before the 10th. I really feel badly about this, I am so sorry.

Not a problem! If you want to send some cards I would check out the RMDH thread to see who else might be collecting cards. The only reason being that Hershey is an hour drive for me. So, I don't make the trip very often.
all gracie asked for christmas was a trip to the beach, so we all loaded up and went to walk on the beach today....she doesn't make it very far but she was so excited to be out there. the beach reminds me why i wanted to live in this crappy place...lol
both the boys went. we were surprised brock wanted to go...i know these days are numbered. i made sure i took lots of boys snaps.
we are now in storm mode. not sure how much snow we are actually going to get...i sent pics to walgreens and picked them up while we were out. going to work on PL while it snows.
Thanks, when things get normal, I will check out that thread and thanks again for understanding. It is out of the norm for me and I feel really bad about dropping.

I would like to sign up for ONE spot and then send a whole bunch of cards for a variety of occasions. I am DONATING all cards - please, I do not want any back. After all, I'm trying to clean out my stash of cards! Besides, they are all going to a very good cause.
As a public service announcement: Well, there's only 3 1/2 more days left for this year. Better get out there and wrap up all those last minute, year end details!

No wonder I'm so confused!! There's more than one Ronald McDonald House swaps and several cards to soldiers swaps! AND, I'm signed up for all of them. Good grief my brain is foggy.

i just put my last photo in my project life for 2012. so good to have completed another year. quinn called dibs on this year and next cuz he likes the colors. lol that kid!
