well, i got my sweet potatoes, stuffing and watergate salad done. pie dough is resting in the fridge, so that is next. pecan ( my absolute fave!!) and pumpkin for everyone else. yesterday i found pecan pie ice cream at trader joes. 2 of my favorite things in one. love.
scott is on his way home early. sent him to the booze store on base. and i sent the boys to walmart for 3 things i forgot. there is a up side to a kid driving. lol

The kids are enjoying time with friends and away from each other today...it just might help us make it through the next 3 days! That's right folks our break is not 4 but 6 days long. Those PA hunters need time off dontcha know!
Hi All, sorry I have been MIA...I am here and working on my cards in fact. I did a cupcake birthday card... I am not much of a cupcake person and was quite happy how this one turned out. I will post it on my blog soon. I have to now reproduce 5 more of the cup cake cards. For the 2nd spot - I am thinking of doing a flowery thinking of you card..Haven not come up with a design yet.
well i think that cupcakes will run aplenty for this...but cupcakes are very versatile...i have made a set of them as well...but i used guy colors...for all of them and only one girl b-day card...I am sending a total of 19 cards and they will be postal today.
when I mailed the package they said it should get there on saturday---i'm hoping that they have arrived safely....always gets me worried...should i have done deliver confirm...shouldn't i do delv. confirm.....
JCI. hope everyone is doing well. i definitely have NOT started these swaps, so don't look for them anytime in the mail. lololololol
but i got my trees up and house all decorated and my cards are done cuz i did a photo card this year. so i am pretty proud of myself to be ahead of my usual holiday self.
tomorrow i am hoping to do something other than clean, like playing with paper. i have some gifts to make.
JCI as well. After that first cup cake card, which I still have to make 5 more of, I am at a stand sill. My December is looking so swamped. I need to set aside some time and finish up these cards quick. Time seems to be running and before I know it will be jan..Lol.

are you restarting WW? or were you still in it? i wish we lived closer so we could fight the battle together. it's so much easier with a friend!
i am going out to do my front arrangements this am, i had to drag in my urns to they would unthaw first. lol i just stuff greens and holly into the dirt. gives me something to look at thru the winter.

I'm still going. I figure at some point it has got to get through my thick skull that I can't eat what I want and still look like I want...lol.
Your urns with the holly sound beautiful! I love holly...I saw some in produce at the store. I might have to go pick some up.

Today is baking day! 36 ninjabread, 30 gingerbread men, 30 sugar cut out cookies and a batch of fudge. A little lunch and then I'm back in the kitchen for some more baking.

I found Ninja gingerbread cookie cutters. Abe's karate class has a Christmas party next week. So, we just had to make some. We had fun decorating cookies as a family today. Even Frank joined in..usually he just does clean up. Abbey wins hands down for the heaviest cookies...can we say 10 lbs of frosting on each...lol.

I've only cried while watching the news a few times, but yesterday was definitely one of them. How sad.
On a lighter note, I have half of my cards made. The other half are cut out and stamped, and that's probably where they'll sit til after Christmas. TOO much to do and never enough time.
