Good Morning everyone! We're off to Jacksonville, FL for 2 weeks. Working vacation for my husband. Not sure what I'll be doing. I acquired a brace for my right hand on Thursday so doing anything is awkward! I'm trying to be thankful it's temporary, but it could be 2 months or more and I'm such a poor patient Anyway, enough complaining. Have a great week.

Jen, talk to you soon.
What? What happened? I will try and call today..it's my busy day but I'll try. Hope you are okay!
It's soooo long since I participated in a SCS swap.
I've been going through a "brain freeze" on card making for a while now (am I the only one to have had a lack of inspiration.) and have been missing it so much.
Hopefully I have gotten my mojo back as my craft room has been calling my name and this sounds like the perfect thing to get me going again.
I would like to donate all my cards to RMH. Thank you for being such a gracious hostess for this swap.
hi jen! glad to see you made it back safe and sound! did you have a good time? did you guys drive?
i am getting a new garage door today....i'm very excited esp since my craft room sits on the garage. the old garage door has holes in it and it's a single layer wood old one so i am hoping this one will help my room stay warmer in the winter!
I have sooooo many card kits from swap that I have decided I need to sit and make a bunch of those for these!!!! Now to just get them out and start coloring and creating, thinking I can just keep a big pile of them next to my chair in the living room to do in the evening with a good movie.
Its been very quiet of late on all the forums and FB I think... maybe everyone has gone into hibernation with the weather and preparing for holidays...
Susan your comment about the card kits had gotten me thinking of mine, i placed them in a drawer in the craft room---must get them out.
AND i had been thinking about my stamps...what i want to do in 2013 is challenge myself to close my eyes, reach in and grab a stamp set and start making cards from them--instead of buying new and/or reaching for old reliable. THEN and only then if I just don't like the stamp set I can give to a few friends/nieces that are just getting into the craft. Anyway that is my thinking so far. (okay anothe part of this is really cleaning out the craft room--but that is another challenge entirely )
Heather-Quilling---I love that website it is one of my favs. I am not a ribbon person but give me a brad and I'm in heaven!
Well, I noticed I have a plastic bin in my craft room closet that I labeled card kits... yes, an entire bin (one of those big Rubbermaid totes) so I decided that is definitely a clue that its time to start using more of them! haha
Susan...great idea to use up card kits...I should dig mine out too.
Linda...Sounds like a great challenge. I get ideas like that...like maybe next year I won't buy any craft supplies unless I completely run out of something. I do really well for about a day and then it falls apart.
BUT I always keep trying and maybe just maybe some day it'll happen...lol.
