Good Morning--I am waiting for some lawn people from DuPont to come and check out our damaged trees from their lawn product--they were to be here at 8:00 and no call as to being late.....................
Then, a bunch of errands and time to stamp this afternoon.
Didn't read outside today....but I did finish Chapter 1 and half of Chapter 2. I have the rest of Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 to do then I have to take my first test Yikes!

Good Morning--It is a bright, sunny day in SE Wisconsin. I need to cut the grass this morning and then I am taking some items to a LSS for their rummage sale this weekend as well as some clothes to a resale shop--hope to make some money on both ventures!
Hi Michelle Yes, the classes are online. I take them at my own pace. I have 3 classes, that I have 8 months to finish. I hope to be finished by the end of the year though.
So far I have started my Anatomy class.....yikes it's alot of work. I thought I'd be ready to take the first test today, but it doesn't look like that will happen. I am glad that I am not trying to work while taking these classes, I'd have a nrevous breakdown.
I am hoping the other 2 classes will be easier I am guessing they will be!

Good Morning Unidentified Friends!
Terry, I am glad you can go at a more leisurely pace, if you need/want to. Take the test another day when you feel more prepared. It is rough going back to school - I did that. Didn't go to college until 4 years (and a marriage and death of a husband) after high school. It took some time to ge back into the mode of studying and feeling confident enough to be a good student.

Terry--Anatomy is one hard class--I took that my second semester in college and thought I was ready for it. Lots and lots of memorizing at that time and I would think it is not different.
Terry...I am so excited for you! I have to agree with Jeanette...going back to school is hard, but you can do it! Im sure you will soon get into a routine with it, and you will figure out what study habits work for you.

I had to take Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2...I think I had a few hundred flash cards for studying.

And I learned several things that helped me remember how different things are placed (like the order of the cranial nerves) or things to help me remember the bone's location (here's one - the Tibia is on TOP of the Fibula).
Metatarsal - Toe Bone (both have T) - (that way I kept the Metatarsal & Metacarpal bones in correct position when I learned them).
Are you taking Microbiology also?

I am taking Anatomy, although it is not mandatory. I am also taking a Medical Terminology class and the Medical Coding class to get my CPC (certification).
This anatomy stuff is killing me. It's going OK, but it's alot to learn! It's been a long time since I took a real class.

Let me know if I can help you. Another sugestion - in some college bookstores or stores like Barnes & Noble you'll find A & P Coloring books. Coloring / color coding the things helped to learn them for A & P.

My book came with a CD that has coloring pages for that It says I can color them online or print them out and color them....not sure how that's going to work.

I would print out the pictures, & color them on my own - not online. Will be cheaper to print if you use Black ink & print out the un-colored pics.

Hello friends, I have been so busy these past 3 days seems like I haven't been on much. Tomorrow is my last day at the school and i'm really ready to much stress and tension in the kitchen. Hope all are having a great day.
Just wanted to give you a heads up and a total bummer in the summer......
I think it is nationwide, but Joann's discount coupons now exclude being able to use them on all papercrafting machines, cartridges and die cuts (*gasp* Spellbinders).
I was at Joann's today and asked to be sure and they confirmed. Sorry for being the bearer of bad news, but did not want any of you to have to wait in the seemingly always long lines to find your coupon would not work for you.
Thank you Jeanette I think I am just a bit stressed out. I will be fine. Today we are taking MIL out to eat for her birthday (that was Tuesday). I went and got her a cake yesterday.....her favorite bakery and this morning I made her a new card since I think I actually made her the same card for her birthday that I had made in the past. I LOVE the new card I made her this morning too
