Thanks, ladies, for your encouraging comments. I kept the layout simple to showcase the shaving cream paper.

Beautiful Card; love the softness the shaving cream technique added to the card.

Oh, forgot to mention, I was so full of myself, I thought I'd try TWO new techniques. The tree stamp was done with the baby wipe technique. I'm pretty full of myself

Edited: Pay no attention to my son slurping his spaghetti in the background! I'm a nut!
gotta chuckle from the spaghetti slurper! LOL

Love your card Amy.

Great Idea Rachel. I just used my scraper from pampered chef. Not the little brown ones that come with the stones, but the larger ones to scrape your chopped goods off your cutting board. Gina K uses the same one I have in her video (stamptv dot com) I don't, however, recommend you go out and buy a pampered chef tool just for this, it's just what I had around and is a bit smaller than our shower squeegie. I do agree, it made the wiping off process much easier.
Hugs

The first day of school is over and my classes were great. It's going to be a awesome year. My mom is also a teacher and I called this morning (as we do every year) to wish her a great first day of school. She said she calculated it out and today was her 40th first day of school as a teacher. She's amazing, innovative and an inspiration! Thanks to all the "teachers" on this board who have touched the lives of children. You are appreciated!

SWAPPED!!!
Ladies, I'll go to the post office tomorrow (Thurs.) The delay was all my fault. I wanted to include a little something extra for you guys, and it took me longer than I had anticipated to do 14 extra cards for y'all. When you swaps come, the extra one is from me - it's a brown card with leaves embossed on the front and three DOTS. You'll recognize it. My final farewell to you all.
You've been great, I'll miss seeing all your wonderful cards. We'll see you around scs at another swap!
Hugs
Amy

Received my cards yesterday. Much thanks for everybody's creative efforts. Rachel, I especially love your shaving cream card with the fishing kids. Really cute!

Much appreciation to all swappers in this group. I really enjoyed seeing all the different designs each month. See you all around SCS!

Loved my cards! Thanks all for participating and Amy for hosting. I'll miss the forced creativity each month that this swap provided and I might even miss the panicked creativity that I experience more than one as the deadline approached. Thanks again, all!

Default shameless plug!

Ladies, I LOVED swapping with you all; I'm going to miss it too!

Ironically enough, I guess it's a good thing we've ended. I just found out that I am going to be deployed on 1 October (not the worst location I could go, but to the desert none-the-less!), and will be entering complete stamp-withdrawals.

If any of you are bored, and need someone to send cards to, I will be happy to provide my address!

Also, if you don't know exactly what I do in the Air Force, I am a First Sergeant. I will be directly responsible for the health and morale of many Airmen (cannot disclose numbers for OPSEC reasons). As you can imagine, being away from our families for MANY months will be taxing on everyone. So, if I had a huge box of blank cards for my Airmen to choose from to send a note home, I would be so proud.

I know there are organizations out there that do that, and I'm working with my support center before I leave, but I wanted to throw it out there to you as well.

Don't feel obligated; I just know that I would want to know if the roles were reversed. I'm always looking for an excuse to stamp

Been a pleasure working with you. Imagine all the new stamping products that will be available by the time I get back!!!!

HUGS!
