Ok girls -
these are heading home. I swapped them all out. I never received Barb V or OkieNurses cards.... since these are holiday cards that are sonn approaching I feel like I can't hold off any longer. Thank you to everyone who participated.....gallery up tonight!

Just wanted to say thanks for letting me know about the cards not getting to you.
I put the cards in the mail on Saturday morning and went about my business and didn't know that they hadn't been received until you contacted me about them. I guess I have just wasted time making them and now that they are swapped out I won't make more.
Went around the neighborhood asking if anyone else has had issues and everyone with kids tells me "kids will be kids" The three houses without kids tell me that they have been having mail disappearing also. Anyone have suggestions of what I can do to stop this problem? I think I will get the other 3 houses and myself to sign a letter I can take to the post office and have the postal people 'talk' to the kids. I have lived here 24 years and just since these 3 families moved in this summer have I had mail problems and it is obvious the folks think I am the problem not their children.

Sorry to hear you are having postal problems. I usually take mine to the post office. The only thing I can think of is to have your post-office put in a locked neighborhood box, kind of like they use in apartments, where the mailman opens up the back to put the mail in your box, put only you have the key to open it from the front. Then there is a slot for out going mail.
If you pm me your address I will send you extra ones of mine.

that just stinks vickie- If I do end up receiving them I will happily swap mine out with you or if I get Barb v's I will swap with her also. Hope it gets resolved quickly.

Looking forward to this weekend. friday is Trunch or Treat at our church and then Saturday I will be having "AN After 5" event in San Diego....one of my life long besties is turning 40 and we are doing a harbor cruise trip with some dancing and drinks! Sure to be a good time.

Waiting on my cards... but they've gotta come a loong way (or a longer way than most). Do you often have swappers from Canada, or am I the only crazy one?
I have an advantage, I live close to Sam. I got my GORGEOUS Cards today.

I usually get one person from Canada per swap
But yes it sometimes takes 2-3 weeks

The Gallery is up- some I didn't add the names cuz' I gave some away already and I forgot to write them down and some I still have but am to tired and lazy to get them to look....but wanted to get the gallery up for you all- Please add your own info or I will edit tomorrow...g'nite!

Sam - thanks for the cute Suzy's Zoo stickers. I had the pleasure of being at an event last month with Suzy Spafford (the designer of Suzy's Zoo) and she's a delight in person : )
