Iīm not sure but i think 1/8 inch is the normal size. These are the ones that i have.

AND I like to use the Jumbo Eylets from SU for bookmarks. You can pull a ribbon through. Thatīs great !

The person at Sizzix answered me and said a 3mm fit perfectly--so off I went to eyeletoutlet and plugged in that size...I kept getting (5mm outside and 2mm inside the eyelet) HUH? haha I'll find some at Michaels this weekend.

I colored my August image last night! Also picked out some papers, but didn't do final assembly. Couldn't decide on a design...but, there's a good possiblity that it will be done before the next image shows up...unless it arrives in my mailbox today.

Heather, I'm like you...hoping to get my August card finished up before the September image arrives!! (thanks, Jo, for mailing "late"...though you really aren't behind at all!)

Imke, I agree, sometimes it is good to have "old" stamps, because they often are handy for just the perfect papers or cards. And sometimes, if I haven't used a stamp in a long time, it's like NEW to me again!!

Hi all! I not only received my September image this morning, but chose to make both cards! These images were so cute, I just couldn't decide. Loved the Lucy image, too, but since I have a grandson in first grade, thought I'd make the card to look like him.

Great images, Jo, and LOVED the challenge!!

here's my card:

Oh Joanna I love the cool cat image but that is one of the companies that is very strict about sharing their images, so I guess I'll have to use the others. She (Hambo) was very strict about her angel policy. Being a Mod and working behind the scenes this is what I think will be best for me. I hope all will understand.
Thanks
Lena

Wow Lena, I am sooo sorry for all the trouble. I didn't remember/know the policy. I'll try to smooth things over with Monica and lets just say that if you want to "vote" for summer, use the summer image of your choice. Ugh. What a can of worms

I know. I love that silly cat too. I love Hambo images and I just wanted to share my passion for her stamp company. Now I feel like a criminal.

I've said it before (and obviously I'm going to say it again) but I have purchased more images BECAUSE of this challenge. I seem to buy the images that I wasn't initially drawn to because it wasn't QUITE my style but as I work with those images ... I grow to love them or see a need for them. I HATE Magnolias (sorry Linda) but I actually purchased one because of Linda's (or was it Debra's) challenge!

I feel terrible about this .... I'm OBVIOUSLY going to have to read everyone's Angel policies. Sooooo sorry, guys.

Yeah, I was actually going to use a Hambo image as well. Totally forgot about the Policy. I might have changed my mind anyway, since I now know you used one, Joanna, but it's too bad.

Good morning!

Thank you, Joanna, I received your images...I loved the stamped image on the envelope...it so made me laugh! I am a fan of Hambo's "Henry" character...not sure if I have a summer one, but will look through my stash.

As I mentioned, Vickie's image choice will be posted to my blog tomorrow....

Ladies if a stamp is retired and the company has an angel policy saying no swapping you may not swap that image. Plus you need to read the angel policies on digital images too some of them have angel policies and you can not share their images.

Awe...Lena thank you--I bought some brushed silver ones @ Michaels this weekend--hoping they are the "3mm" size (they say 3.1m) on the package?! I too have eyelets and especially love the big ones for ribbons (bookmarks) like Imke--you can fit any type of ribbon through the big ones! Anyway, I will see if these work later today--

Okay so I combined the card and finished it--no good? Can I post it here instead of on our posting page? Are we skipping Sept or is QueenieJO sending another image? Or do we just pick out something from our own stash with a theme? Not sure the outcome here...

Lena, I know that, understand and respect it. I'm in a Designteam for Digistamps and we all know that problem.

On the other hand, I know our group (i can only speak for our group) and know that everyone responsible to handle it. We do not deal with it and we do not make it commercially.

I have many different Digi stamp that iīve bought. I would NEVER simply reproduce to give them away, sell or publish like for example happens a lot on Pinterest. I respect the Angel Policy.

About our swap:
In my opinion we donīt do it to harm someone but to meet the different stamp companies ! There are so many different out there you canīt know them all. I see it as a good chance for the companies to make itselfs known and as an opportunity for me to know about this company. But i also know where is the limit, right ? Sensitive theme....

And we all know, if i like the image I will buy it or another from this company. It's not as if we swap who knows how many images. Only one to make a card. We show it here and make advertising. It is a very sensitive theme.

I think everyone company has an Angel Policy or not ? Do you know some who have not ?

Maybe itīs a good way to ask for permission. We could offer our Gallery Link to the company so they can see what we do. Maybe some company would like to sponsor our swap ? That would be great

Sensitive theme.....i said it already.....

I guess that is why I used the Dearie Dolls FREE image. I 'm never sure of a company's angel policy.

I do understand and respect angel policies, these stamp makers do need to make money, it is their living.

However, like Imke said, it's not like we are reproducing the image to sell or make money or share on Pinterest for commercial purposes. And the way we, in our little group, share, it only generates more business for these companies. Being a rule follower, I tend to follow rules to the letter of the law, even if we are not using these images in the way the policy was intended to prevent. And, if I hadn't been in WishRAK, as a SCS member, I would not even have known about the angel policies.

As Lena is a mod, I certainly respect her views on sharing images, and appreciate her telling us about it. Lena, is there a list of angel policies that is separate from WishRAK? If some of us on here are not WishRAK members, we cannot access these angel policies if they are listed in WishRAK threads.

Problem is...I combined both images together and used both of Hambo's cat--because he is the MAIN FEATURE in my card (I am going to buy him now-because he's so cool) and needed to paper pierce him....now what do I do? My card is done! haha

Susanne, if you buy him, it doesn't much matter. So just buy him and then post him (if that's what you're intending to do).

Pattie as far as I know there is not. The girls on Wish RAK did a lot of work and reading to get the list we have. Some of the angel policies can be very long and are not always easy to understand.

I posted a list on here before of the ones we can not use I can do that again if you would like. When you use an image you are actually suppose to post the angel policy in your thread. UnderstandBlue posted this about angel Policies I can add the link here if you want me too.
We had to deal with this before on Wish RAK and all this is actually giving me a headache. When all I was trying to do was follow the rules. ugh!
