How much do you sell your cards for Imke? I've sold a few but mostly just used them myself

I would take 2.75 € (3.50$) . Since it was my neighbor, I sold for 2.50 € (3.25$) each. These were the first that I have sold. Otherwise, I use them only itself also or give it away as a gift.

I have seen that some try to sell at $ 6. But that no one pays for a card here in Germany. If you buy in a store, you pay for a nice between 1,95 $ to 4.50 $ .

I prefer to keep the price in the middle and people enjoy my work and cards

So...I uploaded Ralphie into my "pictures" but he didn't end up there! I cannot find him!!! Kala seems to think he ran off to my downloads and will help me with this process later today! It's funny that this computer thinks for you and is so much ahead of my old one--but my old one let YOU the operator think a lil' bit more and not run off with the images!!! <smiles>

Card prices vary so much here Imke--Hallmark Cards (famous brand) range from $1-$5...it depends on all the layers, styles, sizes. So that has been most of my customers rationale--if they are going to spend $5 on a really nice "keepsake" style card--spending it on a homemade card is even better! I once saw a homemade card in a boutique shop made of 1 red-(burgundy) quality piece of card stock-with a 2" heart with dimensionals. I turned it over to see the price and it was $9.00!!! No words, basic enveloped...nothing special! The heart was the same color--just a super simple card! So its hard to justify what cards will cost--I guess it all depends on the work you put into them--your's are very nice and detailed...You could get more than $2.50/$2.75 for them!

I usually sell mine for $5.00 but you are right Sus ... there are Hallmark that cost more and generally I tailor mine to whomever is buying. I think mine are a bargain at $5, but Americans tend to be less frugal.

I saw a show on the National Geographic channel that had you predict the winners of an election based on the pictures of the candidates. I got 80% of them right. The show stated that people chose their candidate within 10 seconds by how they look. Apparently it's a function of your brain. I was a little horrified by that. Really? Any thoughts, do you believe that?

Susanne if you aren't a member of the fan club your cards won't be uploaded on sat or sun. That may have been the problem. Great job on Ralph. I haven't started on Mays cute image yet. I'm trying to get my DT work done for when I'm gone.

I know that most people don't want to pay as much as our cards are worth.

Oh I know Linda--My problem has been 'getting acquainted with my new(ish) computer! I used to be able to upload a card and zip it on here in minutes--since my new computer came with all my stuff loaded-from the old computer thanks to PC WIZARD DUDES...all I have done is basics like email, word docs<--even that has 1000 different buttons to click (2007 Professional word program) is heavy duty compared to my ol' jolly clunker from 2002 XP...SO, damned and determined I summoned Kala down here to zip me through the steps--Ralph was uploaded but I couldn't find him because he was under a date last week!? Who knew? Now I know where to look for photos I upload...then move them to their proper home in a file! I should become a member of SCS--need to put that on my list--this is the BEST site!

Hello ladies!

Today I had my second chemo had to go in early for Radiation and blood work. Got there at 9 AM. Tuesday my platelets were low so Dr didn't think I'd get to have chemo today but platelets were up so it was a go! I left at 4 PM it's such a long day! Since the chemo put me under the bus last time the Dr reduced the chemo meds by 20 % this time. Last time I had to go to the hospital for platelets one day and to the chemo clinic another day for fluids and meds. I kept waiting on the good days to hit but that didn't happen so I'm behind on my images.

Susanne I received your image and I'm really out of my comfort zone. Have to do Ralph first so maybe by then I'll think of something.

Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day!

Hugs to all

Lena, so glad to see your post, but sorry the chemo is hitting you so hard (but, that's what chemo does) Hope your platelets continue to remain up so you don't have to miss any treatments. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs and Love, Vickie

Tracie, I haven't time lately to think of the May image but going to do it when I get back this Sunday evening or Monday.

Have a great weekend. It will be fun to spend it with Scott and Debra and my other son Steve.

Hey! I pulled out May's image yesterday. It's all colored up and I found some paper that looks really great with it...I just have to remember to include that green!

Hopefully I'll have it posted by the end of the weekend.

Itīs so great to hear that you are busy with the images. I can not wait to see your creation.

I am looking for an image for a 50 (!) year wedding anniversary. Any suggestions ? I thought of " Tom and Tilly " by Mo Manning.

That would work. I have "Young Love", also by Mo Manning. Kinda the same, but they're facing forward on the bench.

Depending on when you need the card, I could stamp some and send them if you want, Imke.

I love that image Imke. I think it would make a perfect 50th anniversary card. I'm such a terrible wife, my first thought was of the Bugaboo image with Gus and Stella

Off to buy a lottery ticket. 550 million. Please - who could possibly use that much money. I am in charge of department purchase.

I got some "lovely" Gus and Stella Anniversary stamps from Tracie - i thought. But this card is an order from my neighbor. I do not know what kind of people who get the card. For my parents, I would immediately take Stella and Gus **lol**

Imke, your image are ready to go to the post office. Tuesday at the latest, but Claire and I will probably take a walk to the post office in the next few days. I hope four is enough and that they get to you quickly and without damage.

Default Mo Manning Stamp

Here is the stamp which bears my name:

"Imke and Mama"

I can hardly believe it myself !!! Itīs done and it goes so fast !!!

AND it has become incredibly cute. I told Mo that I love her adult stamps and that i love the nature. And she has considered it in her drawing. I'm totally thrilled.

I have so much to thank her for that, I'm really happy with this stamp.

I hope you like it too and buy it !

Hi Ladies...
Sorry I haven't been on. It's a long story. First day back at work today, so thought I would hop on and see what was up.
My baby has graduated...wow. Still trying to absorb this into my brain. lol
We have company from Boston in till next Friday, so I took off Monday and Tuesday to visit and recuperate from the weekend.
I got Susanne's images..likie.
Hoping to get them both done before this month's over, but not looking good. Going to try though.
I better get off here for now, but going to try and read back through comments and catch up.
