oops! forgot to post the card picture.
This is a 6x6 card; used a piece of my new Websters Pages from the Spring Market, Yacht Club, and Country Estate package. Love love love Zva pearls; the flower is "handmade" from a piece of lace layered onto a 1 1/4" punched circle; the flower center is an adornment for SU. Tilda was colored using Prismacolor pencils and baby oil as the blending agent. Image cut out using petite oval nestie. Very simple card.
I tried Memento Tuxedo Black because it is one of the recommended brands but it bleeds on the regular paper I use. However, when I stamp for any exchanges I use more expensive paper (the best for you ladies) so I will use that ink.
I use Brilliance Graphite Black by Tsukineko which is also a recommended brand and works well with the less expensive paper I use on a regular basis as it does not bleed.

Wiggy you are right we had a heck of a time when we did the test on card stocks from Canada. They are not the same as we have here in the USA. If I remember correctly on Wish RAK Canada has a special list of cardstock they can use when granting wishes. Of course my remember isn't always working right! Oh Me......

Susanne, your card is very sweet. I like the pinkie colors and the layout. Very beautiful.
I'm not exactly sure if you don´t really know how to upload your card in your gallery or whether you mean it ironically******
For the first case :
When you start SCS you see on the left quick clicks with one option "Upload a Card" . Click on it and these are the next steps:
Member name (already given)> Member Gallery(already given)>Select your photo> Enter a title> upload
Then you see your pic on the left side and you can describe your pic if you want and the next line is the keyword: Please enter there SSMISFEB- That´s it. Of course, you can even specify what have you all used. I hope it is understandable.
For the second case, just forget it****LOL****
Too bad, I can not put enough smilies.....LOL

PS...My Linda card gal is supposed to be looking out of the window (in her IC shaker pouch)...I think it looks better in real life--you cannot really see the "window" here in the photo!

I think it is a beautiful card Susanne. I haven't even started mine so hopefully will get it done soon. I am just worn out today and have a little bit of an ear ache. I don't want to get sick. I have way to much to do this week. I'm getting a perm. this afternoon and going to see my Mother tomorrow. My brother and I are meeting with the office lady as they are charging my Mother more that she has. It is really studpid that they can't see income vs outgo and what is left!
Have a great day ladies. Imke and donelda, hope you get your images soon and hopefull they will approve Debra soon so she can post.

WOO HOO!!! I'm approved.
Wanted to thank everyone for the invite and all the Happy Birthday's. Excited to be a part of the group. My MIL (Linda) has told me so much about you ladie's and yes it's good.lol
Please have some patience with me at first...just getting going again and have missed out on more than I thought. All the neat gizmo's and gadget's they have out now has about made me almost short out. LOL, but thanks to my MIL I have learned a lot in a few days she was here.
I think I have rattled enough for now. Thanks again ladies and nice to meet the group.
Hi Debra, glad to see you here! Some of you are so speedy, I'll have to go look in the gallery to see Susanne's and Vickie's cards! I'll be back in a bit, after the bus comes and check them out!

Welcome Debra! If I can put my cards in the gallery...anyone can!!! <smiles> Glad you got onto our thread...don't hesitate to pick our brains about anything--we are a chatty group....oops...should I be saying that about just me? YAK YAK YAK...here's another 5" post from that Susanne girl again!!!
I knitted my DH a charcoal Knifty Knitter scraf today, in between about 100 things--but finished it! I finally made the turkey breast for dinner, and baked a cake for my cherubs...My DS#2 is begging for us to put a "man cave" together down here on the other side of the basement--get this, he said, "Ma rip out your carpeting up stairs in the bedrooms, replace that with new stuff and put the old carpet in the basement!!!" I kinda like the way this kid thinks!!! I told him he could have my belated birthday gift certificate from Pier One for one of those circular chairs they sell....so he's excited for that!
Well, tomorrow is another day---want to catch Desperate Housewives on here before I head to bed!

Hello Ladies and Welcome to Debra!!
I can play now!! Thanks to Linda! I received my Tildas in the mail yesterday---yippee!! I am working 48 hours out of the next 5 days, so it might not be til week's end that I get to the craft room, but I am so excited to get started!
Imke---do you own a Knifty Knitter? You have to see it really does do the job FAST! You just flip a knitted loop over another one and within the first 10 minutes you have a 4 inch length started. I used a bulkier yarn for my DH's scarf yesterday, and just zipped it out like magic! I didn't add any fringe trim or pom-poms --just a nice solid top/bottom it just builds and poof...done! This is the only time of year I can do this--I cannot sit on a summer day and knit...it's just too hot to knit come spring/summer! Did the scarf /hat I knit you match your coat? Still in ONE PIECE? haha...<getting visuals of an unravelled scarf and hat> haha

Hi Ladies...and thank you for all the warm welcomes. I will be working out of town all week so not able to do anything till this weekend, but will try and pop on when I can to keep up. Really looking forward to getting to know everyone.
Susanne- Of course, it is in one piece and the colors were perfect. I have no Knifty Knitter. I knit rare, but when, then do it in the usual way. I also find knitting and sewing is something for the winter. Since you have more time because you can not make out so much.
Joann-No hurry, there's plenty of time until next week Saturday
Patti- Awesome Card. I like the purple colors. I hope the work is not too stressful this week !
We have seen the first three cards, but they are all very different. Perfect !!

Welcome Sister! Glad you could come play with us!!!
Vicki, Susanne, and Patricia, love your cards, I have colored 2, but not put them together. Hmmmm.....I guess I better get busy.
I haven't made a card yet. Denise you are ahead of me if you have one or two colored. I may have to send Joanna some more images. I want her to get to play. Everything is so crazy with our mail and I assume it is that way everywhere.
All three cards are beautiful. I love the homemade flowers on both cards and the colors you each chose were so different. That is what is so fun about this.
I'm going to get busy and get an image colored after I read all my mail.

Queenie Jo....I am that "student" that gets an assignment and cannot get past it unless its DONE! I am in 2 other swaps and plan to finish them this week/wkend because I cannot stand having them out there lingering! Both of them are all stamped, colored and need assembly! I do it in bits at first...then I hunker down and complete one then the other. Patti and I ran neck-n-neck with the Friday Night Card Club swap--10 cards once a month...we were the first to get em out! To this day I still feel like one of the girls might have skipped a few months?! Who knows-not gonna waste a minute of sleep on stuff like that! So, Tilda was just sittin' here on my desk and I threw her together--I think I need to photograph my cards from now on-the scanner makes em so flat and lifeless!
Patti...lovely card my dear! Glad to see you NOT slouchin' on the job 24/7!!! <smiles>
Imke--do I dare say I just finished a KK HAT today too?! I bypassed the hat to quick do my DH's scarf yesterday--this hat already has a scarf that I finished at the last snow storm--I plan to mail it to my SIL...she's a "beige" gal and this is tan/beige with some specs of blue/white in it..it could be a neutral guy scarf...but now that it has a matching hat...it has to go to a woman! I watched the Martha Stewart show today--so I didn't want to totally waste an hour...I "loomed" !
OK, buzzer just rang...means my spaghetti sauce needs a stir or something...bbl!

Me and my big fat brain: I was thinking isn't it an oddity that we are in (2) swaps with the same people...Now think of this in "real" life...it's like we all work at the same office and we walk into one meeting room and talk about stuff there....Then, all walk across the hall and go into another meeting room and talk about different stuff there! Ahh cyberspace...imagine us telling this to someone that is NOT on line or has any notion of 'chatting' on line!!! Giggling here--- I think about all kinds of goofy stuff all the time!

Debra...I just took a peek at your blog and it was a blank page...this has happened to me with other blogs--it's yellow and I saw a sunflower as part of the stationery..but totally blank...Why is this happening to me? I went to "sign in" and it took me to MY BLOG!
One minute I am 15 paces ahead...another I am sitting here with a question mark over my head!
