**Closed** Pink and Brown/Turquoise and Brown themed card swap - due Oct. 15th
I really like the color combo of pink and brown and turquoise and brown. I never considered myself a person who liked pink or turquoise before but the more I see it paired up with browns I love it. I would like to see the different combos and designs you can all do with the colors. I hope you will all have fun with the swap.
Please specify which color combo you would like to join in on.
Details:
-Make 4+1 cards (+1 is for the hostess, that's me!) standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 size. You will be getting 4 cards back. You will not get one of your own back…so if you want one for yourself, make an extra and keep it.
-Please use good quality cardstock (like SU!, Gina K, PTI) … at least 2 layers and 1 embellishment (more if you would like).
-NVR on any products.
-No envelopes needed.
-Sign up until 10/5/11.
- HAVE FUN BEING CREATIVE!!
Please be sure to sign the back of your cards or put a post-it with your name so we know whose work to admire!!
Feel free to sign up for as many spots as you like, but please make a different card for each spot. There is no limit.
If for some reason you cannot complete the swap, please PM me and let me know. I understand life happens and some things are beyond our control, but please be considerate of others in the swap. Please let me know ASAP if you cannot complete your part so I can find someone to fill that spot.
Mailing Instructions:
Place cards in a large ziplock bag for waterproofing. Include a card/paper with your name, SCS username and name of the swap in your bag. Include a SASE with the same amount of postage that it took to mail to me along with 2 extra postage stamps in the bag for me to use in case return postage is more. I will return extra postage not used.
**Please do not use metered stamps. They are only good for the day they are printed.**
Cards must be in my hands no later than October 15, 2011. Anything that comes in later than that will be returned and not included in the swap. I will swap out cards and send to you within 7 days. If I receive them early, I will swap them early.
When you are ready to mail your cards, let me know and I will send you a PM with my address.
I loved the pink and green Christmas swap so sign me up for one spot in your pink and brown swap. I too love this color combination as well as brown and turquoise.
Thanks Cheryl - I will add you - can't wait to see what you create with this one, I really liked your Christmas cards. I also like the brown and turquoise combo too maybe I should add that
YEAH!! I was so motivated today that I got my cards done. Please PM me your address so I can get them to you. I honestly have to say, I'm really proud of myself with these. They turned out better than I thought they would!! You know how sometimes you get an idea and it doesn't completely come to fruition?
I am just lurking here because this sounds like a great swap, but I can't join yet until I get a few swaps mailed out. If I am getting some crossed off me list by the end on the week, I hope to be able to take a spot for each group. I will let you know soon.
Alrighty... got both sets of cards done. If you want to peek at them, Linda "LZ" Zaworski - JustKeepingBusy I will be sending in them tomorrow or Friday to you.

THANK YOU so much!!! You are too kind. I have been putting them on my blog because most of my pics are too large of a file size for SCS. But thank you... you made me smile this morning!!!
It has been a busy day today - I left home at 9:30 am was gone until 3:00 switched cars then left for school open house and not home again until 5:30 - then made supper, did dishes, took bath and have a killer migraine. The good news my daughter had a good shopping day finding some pants for school. Now I am trying to catch up on emails - I only have 85, and I hope to get a little reading in still tonight.

So I swore, no more swaps until the ten I'm in are close to done but.... These are my two favorite color combos and have been for a long time.
I love a spot in each group.
Is the pink a certain shade or any shade?
Holy cow Angie!!!! At least you had accomplished quite a bit today. Today was my 1 year anniversary of being a housewife, and I celebrated by not doing a darn thing, except got a set of cards done for another swap I'm in. WOOHOO!
I hope your migraine goes away!!
Stampin hugs,
LZ

Angie, we have had some horrific thunderstorms. We woke up around 5am... (I say we, me and my two pups), and watched the storm roll in. We heard the lightening and thunder rolling in... around 7am it started raining. At one point I thought our car was going to wash down the road. My entire street was flooded. But it stopped long enough for the pups to go potty... and it's drying outside. It's not over yet though.
Got a lot done around the house though. Washed 2 loads of clothes and put them away. Made a "big breakfast" and cleaned the kitchen. (We have a tradition of Big Breakfasts on Sunday with bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast). MMMmmmm.
What have you been up to today? Anyone else in the Baltimore area that has seen this mess of storms?
Angela, I'm going to sub for now. I'm in 10 swaps right now, plus hosting my very first swap, so I don't want to commit to something I won't be able to finish! Although, I'm finding a trend in myself......once I sub I always end up joining!! lol

Good morning all - it has been a busy day already for me. I did not sleep well last night and the cat's messes up my glasses, luckily I was able to fix them. I tried to go to bed at 12 because I was tired but once in bed I laid there until at least 1:30 - up at 4:45 to make Scott's lunch - dozed off until 6 to get Rachel up as she started back to school today. Then after I dropped her off at school Matthew and I went to a job fair for Aldi's. Then home and I applied for 16 more jobs, did checkbook, cleaned things off the computer and am now going thru emails. I am pooped.
