Joanna, I am so sorry, I didn't give my Riley's to Lexie, Must have gave them to someone else.
We are here in Eureka, got to bed about 1:00 am and family were calling us by 5:00 am telling us to take cover a tsunami was coming. It hasn't done anything here as of now but they closed schools and the shops on the beach. The tsunami is caused by Japan
s earthquake.

Lena- Happy anniversay to you and your DH and congrats to your DH for the new job. Time to celebrate- do you make something special today?

My DH lost his wallet today. So, he's been on the phone canceling cards, getting new cards, going to license branch for driver's license, calling insurances for new cards, etc. He's a pretty sad puppy today.
Vickie, Sorry about your DH loosing his wallet. It is a lot of trouble trying to get everything replaced.

I posted my card a little while ago. Here it is and a couple of photos of the beach. The tsunomi caused heavy waves an the water covered the beach which is not normal. Even with the tide coming in and out the beach is never hidden like it was today.

Happy Anniversary Lena--wow 44 years! It will be 26 years for us this June and I cannot imagine myself with any other guy! {Yes, he makes me want to pull my hair out every now and again...but that's normal!!!) hahaha <smiles> Best to you both and keep on truckiin' on! Congrats to your DH too for the new job--so many people are out of work--I wish Obama would stay in OUR country and fix that before he attempts to fix other countries problems...can't help think this everytime he jets away and spends millions holding another dictators hand!!! Opps, my political opinion just poked its ugly head!!! hahaha
Linda--beautiful pictures and love lil' Miss Imke Image! I gotta get my rear in gear on that one...great job! Have some fun for all of us out there in that California!
Vickie--my son just lost his wallet...but found it the next day--he left it in an unlocked locker at the gym...HELLO...who does this? Guess he learned his lesson--but did cancel his debit card...everything else was in tact...our neighbor works at the gym and found it the very next day...hope you get all that taken care of--it is bothersome...I had my wallet ripped off while working in a back office @ Robinson's dept store in CA when I was a student--very invasive feeling--good thing I was a poor student (no credit cards)...and someone found it in a garbage can 2 office buildings away?! I always thought that was strange...who fingers through the garbage? EEEK!

Everyone...know what time it is? Did you all SPRING AHEAD? <smiles> All I know is I slept until 10 this morning (new time) and missed the opportunity to jet to the store to get something for the crockpot--to be ready by 3:00...So la de frickin' dah! Guess I'll have to figure out some other 'early dinner' for today! My son has baseball this afternoon and it bites right into the dinner hour--either we eat at 3 or 8pm!

Good morning ladies, we just go back from eating breakfast with my DS and DDIL at a resturaunt that is out on the marina. Yum it was good. We are now getting ready to head to the redwood. It is cold and windy here today with some sprinkles but that is what the weather is like here in March! Anyway maybe pictures later from the redwood!! Hope everyone has a great Sunday!
Alrighty ... so I plan to mail Wiggy's, Imke's and Tanja's images tomorrow. It seems kind of early but I want to do it early enough that Tanja's images don't get lost in the moving shuffle.
I'll mail the rest of the local addresses in a few weeks.

We are just back from the Redwoods. We were in lots of rain off and on. It was a little windy too. I'm adding a picture of the ferns in the redwoods a photo of Lexie, and a photo of the Roosevelt elk that are near Prairie Creek Redwood State Park.

Imke---my image is colored..now I need to doll her up with some fancy background and theme...perhaps a sentiment too! No trees or swings in this one! <smiles>
No Desperate Housewives last night (darn) was planning on watching it tonight on here...oh well, guess I'll have to go snoop around or pop in a dvd... Night all!

Do you like the Desperate Housewives ? You'll laugh, I once saw a 1 / 2 episode and that's it. Nothing for me.
I like the series LIE TO ME. Cal Lightman is to funny. I donīt know if itīs the same title in the US but i think so.

Imke, never heard of Lie to Me, but I'll have to look for it, I love funny shows. I really like "Raising Hope", that is pretty funny! It's on tonight after Glee (another favorite of mine).

I'm going to one of my favorite online stores this Saturday; Joan from atjoansgardens is hosting another stamp class; I love going to her classes and creating awesome projects but also having the chance to shop at her store in person.
Imke--I have not heard of Lie to Me either(maybe we don't have it here?) I did the same exact thing with Desperate Housewives the very first time it was on...all I could think of is ..YUK, these women are nasty to one another--so much drama and how catty! But, one boring summer the year before last, I had some freebe episodes on my ABC dot com and thought I'd give it a try...I started with the very first episode and watched about 8 in a row (day after day)...then, I rented the entire show via SEASONS from Blockbuster rental...Now, I am right on board!
I also watched the entire Series of The Soprano's! I work with a show on my computer so I am always plugged into something DVD or TV on my computer!
Almost done with my image--this time I am going to use a camera instead of scanning it--sent my March image to England today--with a nice long typed note to my friend Ali!

Well, I watched another series of THE BAChelor...I wasn't so crazy about "Brad" until the end...he seemed so sincere and less "automated" towards the end...I hope Chantel (sp) gets to be the next Bachelorette--she was so sweet...too good for Brad maybe? I am a sucker for romantic comedies what can I say girls?!
