ORGANIZATION BEING FEATURED: Hospice of Cleveland Clinic
Description of Organization: Cleveland Clinic Hospice at Home believes that no one facing a life-limiting illness needs to walk alone. Trained staff and volunteers walk with patients and their families offering support, comfort and care. Our team of experienced professionals work together to provide the very best in medical care, spiritual solace, social support and human companionship.
I�m reaching out to you in hopes that you (or a group you may know) may be willing to volunteer your expertise to support Cleveland Clinic Hospice at Home patients. Cleveland Clinic Hospice presently serves approximately 300 patients and their families in seven counties in Northeast Ohio. Our patients truly do come first at Cleveland Clinic Hospice and we are always looking for innovative ways provide the best support possible. Our team of social workers, nurses, doctors, chaplains, and volunteers provide top notch care and would like to provide even more personalized care by providing home-created holiday, birthday, and most of all sympathy cards to patients and their families. Unfortunately card-making is not where our expertise lies. It truly is a gift and a talent that we recognize and I�m hopeful you�ll consider donating yours to our nonprofit organization. Also, our card donations are not tax deductible and it is not required. Please do not ask for a receipt. There have been groups that will send thank you's but the "referred by" person keeps us informed and passes on the thank you's. Most of these organizations are volunteers and spend countless hours helping others, lets help make their jobs easier and bless them in helping others.

For a little added inspiration you can join us in playing along with the OPTIONALchallenge each month. This is only optional and you do not have to play along to send your cards to the featured cause for the month. We always take cards no matter if you play along in the challenge or not. This months challenge is to use two or more designs of patterned paper. Be sure to use the keyword C4AC30 so that we can check out your card and comment! these are some new guidelines we started last month, thank you for reading and following them.
GUIDELINES: Please keep in mind, we are representing SCS by sending our cards each month. Recycling is always good, but only use products on your cards that you would like to receive on cards. Also, our card donations are not tax deductible and it is not required. Please do not ask for a receipt. There have been groups that will send thank you's but the "referred by" person keeps us informed and passes on the thank you's. Most of these organizations are volunteers and spend countless hours helping others, lets help make their jobs easier and bless them in helping others.

Got cards from Kamilah in Clute Texas and Pam Lupien in New York. Going out of town for a week so I will photograph when I return.
