hello friends, it is with so many mixed emotions that I inform you all I will need a replacement for cards for a cause. As of last year I am no longer making cards. I lost my father may 7, 2018 and everything changed! I informed lydia last year, but told her I would not leave cards for a cause hanging. so I will continue to post a cause as long as we do not have a replacement. if you are interested please let me know! I will surely help you transition.
I am a doer, so believe me I have been more than busy and my new adventure is doing sooooo well. you can follow me and my new business on instagram @rusticwarehouse72

So sorry to hear about the death of your father. Thank you for leading cards for a cause for so many years. I am grateful for all the work you put into it. I really appreciate the opportunity to help out a variety of charities while having fun paper crafting at the same time. Good luck in your new endeavor.
Are the patriotic cards meant to be thank you for your service cards or something else? Can someone give me an idea of what would be appropriate in this situation for the patriotic card request?

I'm in for the charity - hopefully i'll find enough time in between of tending after my recently widowed MIL, who we are enabling to dodge identification as not completely competent - not the best answer but the only one she can afford at this time.
Teresa, I’m so sorry to hear of your father’s passing. Thank you for your efforts to keep Cards for a Cause going because I really appreciate the chance to help out a different charity each month, too. It sounds as though you’ve found a fulfilling direction for your creativity with your rustic warehouse. I wish you the best in your healing and your new business.
So sorry to hear about your dad. I hope you have friends and loved ones around you to help you continue to heal. (hugs)
Thank you for running C4AC, it's been a joy to participate. Prayers for your new venture and for family.
So sorry you will no longer be running this thread. It has blessed me, I'm sure, more than the cards themselves could have ever blessed others. I pray that someone can step up to take over this thread. And I am in on April's giving.

Therese, thank you for all you've done for us. Personally, I have come to know a number of places that needed our cards and continue to donate to them.
Good luck in you and your husband's business. I wish you success.

Teresa - thanks so much for leading Cards for a Cause. I look forward each month to helping different organizations. My condolences on the loss of your dad.
When I tracked this package, the USPS said that it was forwarded to another address. Is Mary Larsen on this thread? If so, Mary, would you please let me know if/when you receive my package of 30 cards? Thanks very much!
