Sketch Challenge and Recycle
PLEASE READ: Your keywords are
SCRECYCLE06
DO NOT use SC104 anywhere in your title or card description please so it doesn’t show up in the regular challenge for this week. Thank you!
Link to
Master Thread where you can find all the former sketch files.
Now for the challenge:
The goal is to have a nice resource for all of us volunteers that recycle everything we get our hands on!
Use a past sketch challenge and take one of those store bought Christmas or any type of greeting cards you received and use part of it to create a new card incorporating hand stamped images.
If you can't find a past sketch to suit your image post it here anyway, we are mainly wanting the recycle ideas.
Please do not use a recycled hand stamped card for this challenge.
Here are examples on the recycle segment of the challenge but these may not fit past sketch layouts, their just here for card use ideas:
Rox71 - The little bear was cut out and placed into the hand stamped scenery.
Rox71 - The green retro background is a recycled Christmas card with a skinny Santa under the panel.
KristineB – The main image is from a Christmas card and the background is hand stamped.
All submission for this challenge.

I think this is a great challenge. Because of this challenge I've asked for all the cards we received at work because some of them have beautiful images. Hopefully I will get to play tonight.

This was fun! Here's my contribution. I used SC68 for my layout. The picture isn't great but I like the way it turned out. Thanks again, Rox!

This was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be. First to pick an image that would work with other stamps and then to pick a sketch that it would fit on. Here is mine:
warmest wishes .

This was fun. The card I used came from my daughter. Maybe I'll send it to her next year and see if she remembers! LOL I used previous Sketch Challenge 74.

Several challenges involved here--Rox's to recycle a used card--the Santa panel--also to use an old sketch challenge--used #7. Also recycled is the button from some my mom cut off old clothes--fits with the Button Up challenge. The ribbon is some salvaged from a card from a CCRAK. The cardstock base is some precut cards I had stashed away forever and had decided to use up when I came across them yesterday.

Here's mine. It doesn't follow any particular sketch, and although I did use an image from a Christmas card, it isn't Christmasy at all.

I so liked the idea of this challenge - I've only been an SCS member for a short time but I decided to have a go! So here is my first challenge card
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...90&limit=last1
but I'm determined to do more challenges in the future - they are a great idea!
