I love this sketch challenge, Rox, thank you so much. I have been playing with lightweight sparkle and my brass templates, fun. As always, thank you so much for looking. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...0&ppuser=37491

Here's my card -- I uploaded this a.m. and forgot to post here -- and now I see there was an optional piece -- I couldn't get in here last night -- there were many threads, but nothing on them -- so I just went by Roxie's cards -- as they say -- when all else fails, read the instructions (ha ha). Maybe I'll find time to try another. Here's my link:
First of all, THANK YOU Roxie for all you do!!!! I have always loved these weekly sketch challenges and would be quite lost without them. I truly appreciate all of your hard work and dedication!
Secondly, when I linked this card I saw that there were two other cards from two different people with almost the same concept as mine! I guess great minds think alike!
Just got in and I am on it!...................Boohoo, Joey got the boot!........Good news, got my card done while watching. This card is for Veteren's Day........ God Bless America

Here are my cards for this challenge. I wanted to do a card with barely banana, bashful blue, and buckaroo blue. But I wasn't happy with my first card. So, I decided to do a second one. Now my first card is growing on me. I figured I'd post both. They just need to be approved to look at. Thanks for looking!
This was a hard one for the layer challenged, Rox, but really enjoyed what everyone has submitted. Had a few brain hiccups before I could get this one finished. Yuletide Greetings

Here's my card -- love SC challenges they are my favorite!! Wish I had the linen BG for this card -- I guess I'm going to have to put it on my wish list.
I did it. I made it through another challenge and had so much fun. I hope you like it. It is hard to see my solid red on the scan, but in person, it is clearer. My challenge is called "Visa Christmas." My elderly mother also did the challenge and it is called Busy Bee. She is having so much fun. I love to watch her making her creations. I read her your comments and she cracks up. Thank you for letting us be part of your challenges.
I decided to give this challenge thing a try after looking at all of your beautiful creations. My image was so large that I had to turn my card horizontally to get it to fit and my card is not a traditional size. Oh well, I tried.
This is my 2nd card for this challenge. Covered up a stamped tulip with a Prima as it didn't look too good. when I finished card. I'm not sure if I like this any better.
