Looks like you hit on another winner, Rox--great challenge. I was experimenting with a tree I saw in a magazine, but wished I had more lightweight green colors since that border punch hates thick cs. The prototype is a little rough around the edges (lol)! Border Tree

I already have an old one in my gallery which is the exact same sketch but folded the opposite way, so I'm including it for now with the promise that I will make more, since I am challenging myself to play more in the weekly challenges. I hope that Roxie and the rest of you ladies feel that is a fair deal.
OK, I had to hold my 13 month old in my lap while doing this, so it's not perfect But I really like the concept, so I'll have to do more! This one is for my 92 & 94 year old grandparents (DH's thank you note for his birthday $$ from them) so they won't notice the imperfections anyway!!
When I first saw this sketch I thought "Oh, that's not for me." but I decided to give it a try anyway and I really like what I came up with. It just goes to show that you really SHOULDN'T judge a book by it's cover!! I did turn the sketch so the card opens on the side because my snowman wouldn't fit the other way. I hope you like it!
I finally had a chance to join in a challenge again. Thanks Roxie for all of the wonderful challenges, you do a fantastic job! Everyone does a great job, and I so enjoy checking out what everyone has created. I am addicted, I check the challenge before I head to work every morning!
