Here is mine. My youngest got a little milk on the bear and I don't have time now to redo it. Maybe I can claim it is a new distressing technique........what do you think?? http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...54692&cat=7230

Not what I originally envisioned when making this card, but it will do. Unless I sit down and do another card.... which sounds like a good idea to me! Any excuse to sit down and stamp!

oh this one scared me a little bit so I decided to really go out on a limb and use my Wild Rose set which I'm really stressed about! But even thou my 2 step stamping still needs practice I think I conquered my fears! Thanks for the push with this sketch Roxie! TFL!
My pesky life is interfering with my stamping! I won't be able to get to this before tonight, but since I can't sleep these days anyway, at least I'll be having fun!
Okay, here it is! This one was challenging, but still fun!
Here's my attempt, I don't like it. I think I am going to have to think outside the box on this one and try again!
Thsnks for the challenge Rox, it is making me think of my stamps differently, which is always fantastic!
I guess I'm confused. I thought the original idea behind the sketch challenges when they started so long ago was to use the sketch as a jumping board, keeping key elements in place, but allowing for creative license. I didn't realize we had to adhere to exact measurements, placement, etc. Kind of spoils it for me, even though most times I think my SC cards do follow the directions somewhat.

This line is from the very first sketch challenge-
If you want to play, create a card using this sketch as inspiration - lets see how it inspires you
I don't mean to incite anything, I am just trying to figure out why things have changed so drastically.

Here is mine. It's rather basic and simple, but I wanted to try using the Gamsol that I just purchased and this was a great set to use it on with the colored pencils. I didn't feel a need to embellish, although some gold cord from the sleight to the reindeer would have been nice.
Well....thanks for the challenge, Rox. I used a lighthouse stamp I bought a long time ago and had never used. Scanner problems keep my from actually posting my card, but figured I'd post and say that the job is done. Will be posting as soon as the computer with the scanner is up and working again.

I agree with you....it was fun to see how everyone came up with different ideas based on the sketch. I'll miss the additional ideas!
I think it's great that a clarification for the challenge was given. When I am looking through the gallery for the sketches, they are so "creative" that they don't really fit the original posting. It's nice to have the measurements that you'd like to see followed, Rox - can't wait to play with this one.
I stamped a quick card this morning before work. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...0&ppuser=28430
It's not my favorite but I haven't done a sketch challenge for a couple of weeks and I wanted to play. Maybe I'll get more time this evening to come up with another card.
