A little behind--I just couldn't find the right stamp to use for this, until Julia challenged us to draw. Well it's not a skill I really possess, but I thumbed through some old catalogs and saw the ice cream cone stamp I thought of buying but didn't. So I sketched it out and put it on this skectch. So Sweet Ice Cream Treat

I messed with this every night after work trying to incorporate this week's color challenge in with the sketch, but that pink just didn't seem to fit in, so I stuck with the blue and green (one of my favorite color combos). The last thing I did to the card was the thing I screwed up.... the sentiment... it's NOT supposed to be that high and on the green! DUH
I'm going to tell you now it's not that good. I'm not at all thrilled with how it turned out. I messed up the bottom which is why the orientation is different. I tried a couple of things to make it *special* but nothing was working. Any hints?

It's been a while since I've done a sketch challenge. I decided to also do a color and technique challenge in this card. I really love how it turned out. Thanks for the great sketch!

Here's my card for this challenge. I absolutely love this sketch. I'm trying to do the older sketch challenges for practice. I'm also trying to work outside my normal style. I'm getting there! Thanks for the great sketch! http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...09220&cat=3353
I had stamped the flower panel and thought it'd be great cut up into three sketches. Then I thought that there was probably an old sketch incorporating three panels...and lo and behold...there was! Care to see my card? http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...0&ppuser=87307
