Got to working on this challenge and was using my memory rather than pulling it back up on the computer. I may have not done this the right direction. Here's my attempt at this challenge: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...00&ppuser=7104

I got my second card done finally - in between comments today and geez she just sent 16 new children to work into the Keiki files, does she not know it's sketch challenge day!
This was a fun challenge once I figured out what I wanted to use. The three rectangles reminded me of panels in a window or door. I used linen on the turquoise layer. Watercolor crayons used for coloring images. Thanks for looking. Want to try doing this layout horizontally. I've seen some wonderful samples today. Thanks ladies!
Here's my second one - definitely like the first one better - but I was trying to get out of my comfort zone (lavendar/oldolive florals). I think I'd best stick with something I know. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...0&ppuser=56248
Ok, they say there is a first time for everything and tonight was my first time participating in any kind of challenge. I didn't know it was a challenge when I was totally casing this card from someone that I can't remember - sorry.
So here it goes.......it's now time to share or forever hold my piece.....
I just want to say that I'm in awe of all the gorgeous cards this sketch inspired! I just took a peek in the latest uploads, but I don't have time to comment tonight. I'll take a closer look tomorrow and do some commenting. Wow! You guys are amazing!

Finally! I didn't get to make a card yesterday so here is my challenge for sc75. I was inspired by this cool paper I had (at least I think it's cool ). I haven't been thru the gallery yet so I hope I didn't take anyone's idea. This is a great layout, I will definitely make more w/ this sketch. Thanks for a neat sketch! Flower Power
