Keywords: SC293 No spaces between letters and numbers, put a comma followed by a space between keywords. The keywords are all you need to have your card show up in the challenge gallery, having it in the keyword line covers more searches. Posting to this thread is not mandatory to play!
No due date for posting your card to any weekly challenge.
***************************** What is the Sketch Challenge: in Andreaís words from SC08 (Andrea is the founder of the challenge): "You take the sketch I provided and use any stamp set, any accessory, and any kind of paper to make a card. So all of the cards have the same basic layout, but they all look very different." -It is fine to flip the sketch, change panel sizes, shapes, card size and border as you wish (unless stated in the write up for the week), a little tweaking is fine but letís see those main elements of the posted layout please. (The numbers and colors are requested from players so it's easier to read the layout, it means nothing towards colors used or number of borders when creating your project.)
We have similar layouts to this one in the files already but not with the decorative border to the one side, so thatís our focus this week. If you donít have decorative punches just cut that area larger and find ways to embellish it.
For any new players:
I drew in most of the borders just the way Sallie has them on her layout but other than the decorative layer of #5 feel free to omit or add to it as you wish.
hobbydujour (smithr66 brought this card to my attention, thank you!)
You can find measurements in my card description linked in post #2. Open the link and they will be at the top of the description. OR The attachment will print out to actual size of an A2 card for most computers. A2 is 4.25 x 5.5 inches.
Printing directions are in the Master Thread linked above.
Roxie, I was a little overwhelmed when I opened your thread this morning and saw my site name in big green letters!...to say the least! I've never considered interesting layouts my strength......that's why I love your challenges! Thanks to smithr66 for bringing the card to your attention. Thanks! You've made my day start in a special way!
