At last, at long last! I loved this sketch, Roxie ... and was well on the way to finishing my version earlier on Wednesday .... until Grammy opportunities arose ... I was determined to complete it once I got back home ... so thanks for another inspiring challenge!
Well, I had the idea of Mr and Mrs Twigster and had already made the focal image panel when I thought to do the Sketch Challenge! Turns out I had to turn the sketch on its side, and I don't like it as well that way, but here it is anyway!!
Mr and Mrs Twigster (be sure to check out the Mrs' shoes!! )

So I have done a couple of the card sketchs in the past but have always been a bit nervous about posting my creations. All of the crafters/artist on this website seem to be SO gifted, not sure that mine will add up - but I guess the only way to find out is to post.
This was a fun card to make!!
Thanks for taking a look.
If you feel like it - let me know what you think... All comments - even negative are appreciated!!
Hope you are having a FANTASTIC Thursday!!

I decided to try this layout again. I didn't like how much black was in my last attempt. I kept the same stamp, but used different papers and more of them. I added my white gel pen so I could use it for the WT183 challenge as well. I like how this one turned out a lot better, even though my camera flash distorted the colors a bit. Thanks for all the inspiration! =)

here is my 3rd card. I started it last night and finished it this morning. I just now had a chance to take a picture of it, and load it into the gallery. I think the exhaustion was making me wierd, because this is another interesting color combo. tfl
This ended up being a nice layout, but at first I wasn't sure what I should use as the three horizontal stripes. I wasn't sure if I should use paper strips, ribbon, border punches, etc. but I think it turned out nicely!
