Thanks Rox and Amy for another great SC--quick and versatile!! The old carpal tunnel has reared its ugly head again so using scissors and X-acto is a bit challenging so went to the scrap pile for the sunflower cutout.
It was always my favorite too, seldom a special tool or supplies needed and I try to keep it that way.
This is a really good point -- especially after all the comments to the color challenge thread yesterday about not having greys. Of course I have all the greys, since I'm old enough to remember the pink and grey fashion trends of the late 70s/early 80s... I had very fashionable diapers and plastic pants -- who remembers THOSE!
What a wonderful sketch. After uploading my card though, I saw that I forgot to run the ribbon over the entire horizontal side. I am sorry! I was so psyched to get my card done before noon. I will try to make another.
Location: Living in Kansas, but my heart is at OSU with my DS!
I normally do not make square cards, but this one just inspired me to make a 6x6 card. I love the sketch it has simple lines and you can do so very much with them. I think the flower could of been a little bit larger. Maybe I will go back and add some smaller flowers around the large one.
