I've never done a challenge, but I just want to say to ALL that as I was going through today's gallery I saw so many beautiful cards from this challenge, it drew me to look up this thread. A pat on the back to all who posted cards. A job WELL DONE!
I'm not a complete idiot ~ some of my parts are missing!
L love these sketch challenges! Thank Roxy, and thank you for commenting on each one I do (even the old ones). These challenges force me to come up with cards on my own and not turn to the galleries or cattys for inspiration. Just getting started in stamping and really enjoying this!
I made 2 cards, the first is a colorful birthday card that I am not so sure about, and the second I used the trusty Delight In Life set -can't go wrong!
I didn't have as hard a time with this layout as I anticipated. Too many panels and layers usually overwhelm me but I really like the end result of this card (except that I forgot the top panel....oops! I hope this still counts):

Wow........what a huge response Roxie for your really cool sketch from Toy. Thank you both. Silly me...thought I would use up some scraps and ended up playing with my new Fancy Pants paper from Jacksonbelle's ebay store.
