For sketch challange #4 I did scrapbook pages. I don't know how to attach the link but my gallery link is here if anyone wants to look. There are a few of the challenges that could make cool sb layouts. I want to try #2 in a sb layout yet.
Go easy on me - it's also my first attempt at the Joseph's Coat technique I've been hearing so much about. I put organdy ribbon over the strip to give the fishies a "shimmer". http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.co...cat=500&page=1
(If I had it to do over, I would mount all the pieces on black cardstock, instead of the multicolored one~what do you think?)
I just love this website ~ I must be losing at least an hour's worth of sleep at night, just surfing! >> This is me watching the screen every night!
All around fun person to be around :)
Here is the first card I made for the challenge. I'm hoping to getting around to another one this weekend. I am really enjoying these challenges. Thanks so much Andrea Sophie for putting them together for us!
LOL! Like I should talk! I'm always getting mine in at the last possible moment. But I'm gonna go do mine in just a minute... yeah, really... I'm gonna get started here as soon as I finish checking my e-mail and SCS and stuff... really, I am... headed to my stamp table momentarily...

Woohoo!! Got my challenge done with days to spare! Whatever will I do now? Oh yeah, I've got to do 3 sympathy cards, birthday card for my niece, birthday card for my mom, Christmas thank you cards (yep - I know I'm late on those ), and on and on and on!
Cindy, anyone can play! Andrea has been posting a rough sketch of a card layout on Wednesdays and challenging us to use the layout to create out own card. For me, this has really shook me out of the rut...all my cards were looking similar.
After making a card with your own special twist on the layout, if you have a camera or scanner you can post it in the galleries and pop back to the forum thread and tell everyone about it.
