Hello ladies of SC... i know you all are the best for sending out cheer and encouragement to people in need....
Im hoping some people would send some cheer to my friend Kendra
she found a lump less than a month ago the size of a grape
which quickly grew in unmder 3 weeks
She is going in for Surgery tomorrow
Kendra is a single mom of 2 amazing boys
please send her some love
if possible pink cards
PO box 39
please put friend of Elke
so, so sorry to hear. My girlfriend had a double mastectomy - just to provide some piece of mind since she is HER2 positive. Maybe this will put Kendra's mind at ease that cancer won't be able to reoccur in that breast. Tell her our thoughts are with her.

no sadly it was a waste of my time, the dr danced around all my questions,
told me nothing, except based on my first mammogram I am engineered something or other which made her giggle, but told me she didn't even know what that meant...
But she did ask me what Dr of surgery I want....What the heck??
so all it did was stress me out
and now im still waiting
wed will be 2 weeks so the results should be back by than im praying
As for Kendra, she has a meeting at the cancer clinic on dec 31st with the radiologist and another Dr, for her to start the radiation
for those ladies who sent her cards Again I thank you for this
As it made her smile and she loved it
well what a twist of turns,
I was diagnosed tues night with breast cancer as well.
The blessing now for Kendra and I are we are both in this together, and this will build our friendship even closer,,
thank you everyone for keeping us in your prayers
at least I have a dear friend who I can go through this awe full time together..
I asked the surgeon have you ever had 2 friends come in and both have the same side
he said um no its a first for him lol

For those of you who sent Kendra cards,
she starts her chemo in a few weeks now...
She is still as upbeat as ever.
I feel lucky to be her friend and that we are doing this together just months behind each other
